Prefer traditional strips

I wanted to like this hot wax method more than I did. It was more of a performance to prepare than I am willing to do on the regular. The hardened hot wax comes in a metal pan that needs to be heated on the stove or over a flame to soften. Once liquified it does spread over the skin well and gripped most of my hair, but still left a few strands behind. Results- I did not notice any better hair removal than I would with traditional wax strips. Ok but not great effectiveness. This was nice try once but a lot more work to prepare than I’m willing to do again. I did really love the soothing oil to apply post-wax, though. It is really silky and nourishing on the sensitive skin afterward. All-in-all it’s a 3/5 for me, not for me but maybe for thee.
