Not quite 'authentic'

I always like comparing bottled sauces and prepared products to the real thing, especially when it comes to Indian food. Indian foods are notoriously difficult to replicate, as each family makes their own recipe. It’s a matter of combining your own unique spices and flavours for a customized dish. The Patak’s brand is pretty reliable, although they do tame down the flavours and recipes for the general public. They do lack authenticity, but if you’re looking for a similar experience that you could create at home, this would be a reasonable option.
