Cheap cardboard

The characters were very well made. Unfortunately I can not say the same for the jail house. I would highly suggest that the packaging have a clear plastic window pane to see what you’re actually getting. My daughter and I were very surprised when we took the toys out of the package and saw that it was cardboard with some plastic. She even mentioned as to why chick alerts didn’t look the same as the picture on the box shiny and gold. The picture in the box is deceiving as to what you’re actually getting which is cheap card board. But again the characters were very well made an sturdy and will outlast my 3 year old. Can not say the same for the jail house. Also if any water is spilled on the jail house, it will ruin the entire toy. As a mom I don’t see the value for my money on this one

Made of cardboard

My son loves paw patrol so he enjoyed the figures and the elevator but the structure of the building is made of a cardboard type material. That being said, it's quite sturdy considering. Still hasn't broke! But it can only be played on a flat surface or it cannot stand on its own.

Not great, but

My 5 year old son was given this play set, without any words from me. I wanted to see how he would truly react to it. He was confused with what it was. He knew the characters of course, but he asked what the set was. He became frustrated when the character wouldn’t easily fit into the play set. He had a blast though, playing with the characters on his own without the set. (Which was not very sturdy at all)

Quality

My son loved the toy but unfortunately because most of the play set is cardboard he ripped it and then was upset. If the house was made with plastic it would be more durable.

Cute Figures

The Paw Patrol figures were cute and well made, however the city hall that came in the box was 15% plastic, 85% cardboard. If you're buying it just for the figures, it's definitely a good buy... but the city hall is flimsy and not worth it.

Paw Patrol 2 figure cat toy

My son was excited to open the paw patrol 2 figure cat pack and was instantly drawn to it. But he lost interest with the main structure pretty quickly and now only plays with the character figures.

Overall the toy is okay. If your kids like paw patrol they will love the characters. The structure of city hall could be made a little more sturdy, as the cardboard used is not strong enough for the plastic components and it tips over at times. The cardboard also bends and doesn't allow the cage at the top to lower properly once the lever is pushed.

The Rory figure is my son's favorite. The character does flips with a turn of the tail, it doesn't always land on its feet but he still enjoys it. The characters are a great addition to his existing collection.

I think if the main town structure was made a little more sturdy this toy would be a 5 star.

Cardboard

Although I was very happy to receive this toy for free, I was surprised at the flimsy quality. I don't know how much this product goes for as it was free for me but the cardboard background is not what I expected. Also the jail cell is very tricky to close once opened and my 3 year old almost smooshed the whole thing trying to close it. That being said the little paw patrol figurines are cute and my daughter was excited to receive this and did play with it for quite a while. She did ask if there was more in the box and she mentioned the jail being too hard to close a few times but overall if this product was in the $10-$15 range I'd say it was well worth it, but for any more than that I wouldn't think it was sturdy enough. Especially for rough toddlers. It has reignited her interest in paw patrol though and we've been watching it a lot more lately.

My kid loves it!

Received the PAW Patrol 2-figure Cat Pack with Rory & Skye and my kid instantly ripped into it. She loved it. The little figurines are small and cute. The ‘building’ was made out of very thin cardboard with a little plastic elevator thing. (I don’t know why they would mix the 2) the cardboard is just going to bend and brake. I gave it 3 stars because the figurines were legit and will last.

It has potential

The characters and mechanism of the structure are well made but the cardboard cover for the building feels cheap and flimsy. It would look better and last longer if the whole structure was made of the same material. One other thing is the bulldog character is top heavy so he falls over a lot.

Despite these flaws my 3 year old daughter enjoys playing with it, especially the leaping kitty. She is fascinated by the mechanism of the trap but hasn't connected that the kitty jumps and hits the roof to drop the cage.

While I would not buy this myself, I can see it as a nice gift for a child that likes paw patrol between the ages of 4 and 8. On it's own I can see that it might get boring fairly quickly with older children especially, but it would be a nice addition to a paw patrol play set.
