Convenient and easy to use!

I use retinol every night on my skin but I’ve never tried a retinol cream for my eye area. I think I just always thought that retinol would be too harsh for my eye area. It was quite the opposite. My eye area looks brighter and smoother. It’s a balm with encapsulated retinol that comes in a convenient stick that makes it easy to apply because I can control exactly where I want it to go. I have normally dry skin and I was able to use this nightly without any irritation. I found it very hydrating.

My only concern is that I don’t actually know how much product I’m putting on my face because I can’t see it or feel it because I’m using a balm application. So I’m not sure how long one of these sticks last. I haven’t been using it long enough to tell if it has an impact on my fine lines but my under eye area feels firmer. Definitely going to keep this in my routine to see if there are further results.

I really enjoyed this eye product. I like that it is in stick maki g it easy to apply and that you get just the right amount of product on your face! I found it helped lessen the appearance of fine lines.

Innovative in a saturated market

Retinol is a STAPLE in my routine. I googled skincare as soon as I hit 33 (lol) and retinol is of course at the top of the list for things that *actually* work in this competitive, vanity driven market where everyone wants their skin to stay forever young. So this EYE stick. I have not seen very many retinol products targeted for the eye- my assumption until now was that retinol is not a great thing to get IN your eyes, and to be honest it is still the case, even after trying this stuff. Don't go overboard or you'll spend all night with watery irritated eyes. If you use it sparingly, and don't rub it INTO your eyes, you should be fine. I don't have any pronounced aging in my eye area, and the laugh lines are here to stay, but I have gotten plenty of compliments on my skin being glowy and whatnot since using this product, so ill consider that a win! I enjoyed the ease of use, I enjoy the plain and simple ingredients, I just really don't enjoy getting retinol in my eyes, haha. User error.

really liked this balm

The retinol eye stick is an eye serum in the form of a balm which contains 3% encapsulated retinol. At first I was super worried that the product would tug at my skin, because the skin under your eyes is a lot thinner than the rest of your face and we have to be very careful there. Personally, I washed my hands then placed the retinol eye stick on my back of my clean hands and let the product warm up a bit against my skin. I think this really helped because it made the product glide on super easily. I also really like the size of the balm stick because it was thin and applied under my eyes as well as my eyelids easily. The product was hydrating enough for under my eyes but also not too strong where I experienced irritation. I also like that this product will last a long time because you only use a swipe or two for each application.

I used this product only twice a week because previously I did not have any retinol products in my skincare routine. I wanted to start slow and then introduce retinol more frequently. If you have sensitive skin like myself, I suggest you try to do the same. This will avoid irritation and always do a patch test when trying out new skincare products.

Good first impression

Butterly and Peace Out selected me to try the Peace Out Retinol Eye Stick free in exchange for my honest review. This is my first impressions of the product. 

The stick features Encapsulated Retinol, which is retinol surrounded by a carrier system. Encapsulated Retinol retains all of the benefits of regular retinol but it's said to be gentler on the skin as it penetrates in more of a time-released, yet deeper fashion. People with sensitive skin tend to tolerate it better.

Peace Out Retinol Eye Stick 
Focus ingredients: Encapsulated Retinol, Power Peptide Complex, Vegan Squalane, Vegan Astaxanthin
Experience: I need to warm the stick up more, a few seconds still leaves it tugging at my skin, which I don't like in that area at all. The serum feels light, I preferred tapping it onto my skin and using my finger to smooth it.

The stick didn't irritate, nor did it have the typical retinol "scent". I did notice warming the Eye Stick on my face left a red mark, i will need to explore that more. Overall a good first impression. I look forward to further use!

Quick and easy

I've been looking for something to help with the appearance of fine lines, so I was really excited to be selected to try this product. It couldn't be easier to apply. Simply swipe the stick under your eyes. The stick has no scent to it, which I really like. The stick glides over my skin effortlessly. My skin feels soft and hydrated after it is applied.
I really like the concept of this product, and how easy it is to use. I'm very curious to see the long term effects of this product. I haven't used it for long enough yet to comment on that.

Preventative care for my eyes

I #gotitfree to try and review this retinol eye stick and here are my thoughts: I don’t like how it drags on my under eye when applying however that seems to be solved by “warming” the product up first on the back of your hand. I do notice a slight decrease in my lines when it’s on my under-eye and it feels moisturizing so thats a win

Great for tired eyes

I #gotitfree to test from @butterly in exchange for my honest review. I am a mom with two young boys so sleep is hard to come by. I have been finding my eyes and face are looking a little tired so I need some extra help. I found the Retinol Face Stick went on silky smooth, blended well and left my under eyes super hydrated, smooth and had less dark circles. I find the more I use it the better my results have been. I will continue to use as I am loving the results so far. I do also have sensitive skin and found this did not irate me at all!!

Awesome and very practical to use.

Very easy to used and perfect for traveling.
The packaging is very convenient and great for on the go.
I love how it feels on the skin, my skin feels very hydrated and rejuvenated, its scent free and non greasy.

Very impressed

I’ve only been using this for a few nights now but I must say… I’m impressed! My eyes look well rested, dark circles gone and the lines lessened a bit. I’m sure with more time it does even more wonders. I also have very sensitive skin and this doesn’t bother me at all!
