I found that the hourglass pads are too thick and uncomfortable. It shows through my underwear. I also find it a lil bit irritating. I usually wear thinner pads and I bought the light hourglass pads and they still do not compare to what I usually wear. I would recommend this for women over the age of 30. Not suitable for younger women.

Poise Hourglass Pads are very simple to use; just like a menstrual pad, you peel off the strip and then stick the pad to the under garment. The Poise Hourglass Pads are shaped like an hourglass, so they’re comfortable to wear; however, they’re also larger than I had expected (similar to a thick maxi menstrual pad). Poise Hourglass Pads are very effective and absorbent. They keep you dry all day; especially compared to using regular menstrual pads or liners, and you won’t have to change them often. When/if my LBL gets more advanced, I will definitely be using Poise Hourglass Pads … I definitely recommend that anyone with LBL consider trying them.

Great pads for those little or moderate leaks. Just a bit too bulky, but they do a wonderful job.

This product was wonderful! After having two kids it's embarrassing having the odd leak....but with these poise hourglass pads it's manageable! They are thin and fit perfect to my shape! No more rubbing on the inside of my leg like the old ones did!!!! I will now buy this product time and time again!!

I received the Poise Hour Glass Pads to review as part of a campaign through ChickAdvisor. These pads are used for LBL (Light Bladder Leakage) but can also be used for menstrual pads. Sometimes I experienced LBL when being active outdoors, working out or when I get super sick with lots of sneezing and coughing. Nothing like a sudden unexpected flow! NOT! HA! I thought I would try these out as menstrual pads. The pads I tried was for moderate leakage and they work great. Great protection and definitely keeps you dry. However, I found that the pad was very bulky. More so than what I am used to. I wonder if I tried the light leakage if they would have been less bulky. Or maybe the pantyliner's. The new hourglass for me, tends to bunch up in the middle as there is no wings to keep it in place.

I think it's cute in appearance. But I don't think I would consider buying them in the future unless then slim them down a little bit, make them longer and add wings. I wouldn't recommend these pads to someone with minor leakage issues, but I would if someone mentioned it happening often or in excess. These would work great for women with a "super heavy" menstrual period. I personally don't need to use a pad of this thickness. Overall though I have to say the product certainly did what it was supposed to do.

For now I am sticking to what I currently use and perhaps in the future I will try the liners or light leakage Poise Pads and see if I find them less bulky.

I was one of the lucky ones to be selected to test this product. I have had mild leakage on and off ever since I had my child, and as I have gotten older, it seems to have gotten worse! At first, I was a little shocked by the size of the package that I received, and was worried that the pads themselves would be too bulky and uncomfortable. Luckily, due to the hourglass shape, they were actually very comfortable to wear. The do not chafe the inside of my thighs as some rectangular shaped pads tend to do. The pads were very absorbent and kept me dry when I would have my "leakage' incidents. I like that they come individually wrapped and are easily portable. They do not show through clothing, and are so easy to use. This is a product that I highly recommend to anyone who suffers from mild to moderate bladder leakage, and is looking for comfort and absorbency.

I was a little concerned when opening the package and seeing the size of the pads. They are however smaller than other brands and have a nice shape and are soft. They are also decorated nicely too, but the only person seeing them is myself so the decorations isn't much of a problem for me.

They do absorb very well though, except they feel a little bulky, would be nice if they weren't so bulky and you almost feel uncomfortable with them on, the pad itself is comfortable in a sensitive area but it's uncomfortable where it's large, I was just using a panty liner as it's less noticeable. It would also be nice if they had wings on them so you don't feel like it's moving around whenever you move where they are a little bulky.

Right now my LBL isn't a great problem but I am finding as I get older and after having children it has gotten worse, so I will keep these in mind in the future when my problem worsens. At times though it is worse than others so it's nice to know that there is something like this product for me to use and feel comfortable. If you have a problem with LBL I definately would recommend giving these a try.

I received a package of Poise Hourglass Pads and was super excited to try them out. First off, I loved the packaging. The pack is pretty and feels very feminine. The pads are wrapped in cloth wrappers which I love because those plastic wrappers can really echo in a public bathroom, am I right?

As soon as I put it on I noticed how comfortable it was and how well it hugged my body, hence the hour glass shape. I was expecting the pad to feel bulky but it didn't at all, just like wearing a thin maxi pad.

I've had a bit of LBL in the past when working out or during some allergic sneezing fits. I did wear the pad to work out and didn't feel uncomfortable at all. I felt dry despite 'dribbling' a couple times. I usually would just wear pantyliners to stay dry and hope that it would hold up. With these pads, no need. You'll be dry and protected for sure.

I'm not sure if I would buy this product because my LBL is few and far between but I've already recommended it to friends and family. They are a bit pricey but totally worth it!

I, as well, was a little shocked when I first received the package, as was my family! I received several questions from the children as to what it was, and why it was such a big package. That was fun, let me tell you, explaining that to the kids :)
After that first surprise, I received another surprise. Despite the size, the liners do fit very comfortably and once on, you cannot feel them at all! Do they ever work well also!
I am a 41 year old woman with children and recently have been suffering from a horrible bronchial infection complete with terrible coughing fits. This time though, instead of having to run to the bathroom fearing for the dreaded leakage, I could relax and know that I was safe and protected. That was a wonderful relief for a change!
The odour protection is likewise quite comforting and I would definitely use these again!

I am a 40 year old woman with three young children, so I absolutely have a problem with bladder leakage! These Poise pads fit the bill. I was a little intimidated by the size of them, but they are very comfortable and definitely keep you dry and also really help with odour. I would recommend these for women with at least moderate bladder leakage problems. I think I will keep trying these pads. Thank you for the opportunity to try them!
