Cute but doesn't work well

I purchased this to help my with daughter's potty training and at first it helped but then she started using it has more of a fashion statement. The timer would go out by itself and then it'd be so low that she wouldn't hear it.

A newer way to potty train

We found a watch that's a potty watch. It's a kids watch that they can wear and you set the timer on it. The intervals are 30mins, 60mins, or 90mins. When it's time the watch has a few little led lights that flash and it plays a song. This is supposed to help them remember to go to the potty. So we hadn't even started the training when we started using the watch. At first he didn't to much care for the idea of the potty and it took a few times if the watch going off for him to realize what it meant. So now it goes off let's say every 30 mins. When it does he goes to the bathroom and gets on the toilet but obviously he doesn't have to go potty every 30mins so he was getting frustrated and had a few accidents in between. The timer automatically resets for another 30,60,or 90mins depending on how you have it set so you don't have to keep resetting it yourself every time it does off. To me having potty trained 2 other children without the help of gizmos and gadgets it seems this way is a little harder but might work for some or maybe he's just not ready ready for training yet. We will keep trying and see what works in the end but I thing the potty watch was a cute idea that could be very helpful.
