I recently used the Premier Ready to Roll – Interior Doors + Trim (Pure Black, Satin Finish) and I’m honestly impressed. The paint is pre-tinted, which made the whole process super easy—literally grab and go.

The consistency is smooth and not overly thick, so it rolls on evenly without leaving clumps or streaks. I also love that it’s low odour, which made painting indoors much more comfortable. The finish dries to a clean satin look that feels durable and high-end, perfect for doors and trim.

Coverage was great too—rich black, no patchiness, and only needed a couple of coats for a flawless look.

Highly recommend if you want a rich, modern black finish without the hassle!

Easy Coverage

We gave our laundry room a makeover with Ready To Roll Doors & Trim Paint in Pure Black, satin finish. The satin finish delivered a bold and modern contrast. We used it on our doors and trim details in a neutral space (white laundry room) and it really added that extra oomph we wanted. This small change had such a huge impact! It applies smoothly and offers excellent coverage. One coat gave a strong result, but that second coat definitely ensured full uniformity and any missed spots. Also, no spatter and it’s super durable. Plus, it’s low VOC, so it’s better for breathing and a nice benefit for indoor use and helps minimize lingering paint odor. It transformed the whole space!

Easy to use ready to roll paint

I can’t say enough good things about the Premier Ready to Roll Interior Doors + Trim Paint in Pure Black. This paint glides on like butter. smooth, even, and with such great coverage that it honestly made painting feel effortless. It’s hands-down the easiest paint I’ve ever worked with.
I used it on my interior door trim throughout my house, and the transformation was stunning. The rich “Pure Black” colour created the perfect contrast against my walls, giving my space a bold yet elegant look. Thank you to @Canadian Tire and butterly for sending me this paint to try

Great door paint!

Was super excited to try the black ready to roll premium indoor door paint for the door in my mom’s entryway. It’s been years since that door has even been cleaned! After a quick wipe down, I used the paint and it went on smoothly! The paint is such high quality that it required one layer and very little touch ups. The door came out looking stunning! I’d highly recommend!

Beautiful finish

I was skeptical about finishing our home improvement project with black trim, but my partner who is a painter by trade has an eye for things like this and so I agreed. From what I gathered from him is that the paint is easy to work with and beautifully pigmented and rich. It applies really well and although we used two coats, I don’t think it was absolutely necessary, but appropriate for good measure!

I have to tell you. This is the best paint I ever used. It dried super quickly was not tacky, and you do not need a lot of paint. I didn't even go through a quarter of paint to do my t.V console, and it looks so much better than it ever did

Ready to Roll Trim Paint

I recently used the Ready to Roll Trim Paint from Canadian Tire for a backyard renovation. As the colour choice was in the black tone I was looking for it is easy to just grab it off the shelf and not have to wait to have it mixed at the store. The paint went on smoothly and dried to the satin finish as described. Only time will tell how durable the finish will be but off to a great start.

Excellent Paint Product

This paint is excellent! I used it on a current renovation project in the master bathroom on the trim and door. It went on smooth and had excellent coverage. I would definitely recommend.
