easy to use!

Thank you ChickAdvisor for letting me test this product, the Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher, #gotitfree. I received the root retoucher in Black; I was skeptical at first thinking, this is gonna look so obvious on my hair, but the spray on product was very effective in covering up the stray greys on my hairline! It was really easy to use, I just aimed and sprayed, and the grey was magically gone. The color lasts all day without fading or flaking, though I have to admit that I didn't touch the sprayed areas at all after application. I would definitely buy this product in the future, it's so easy and quick to use, with great results!

Great lil quickie

This is a great product for when you don't have the time to get into the salon but need a touch up a.s.a.p!! I received the black and it matched perfectly. No residue or over powerering smells

Lifesaver!

I am in love with this stuff! It literally takes 30 seconds to cover up grey hair. The nozzle is perfect for easily targetting small areas and the product did wash off after my next shampoo as indicated.

Not A Fan Of This Hair In A Can

I received a can of black Root Retoucher to try courtesy of Chick Advisor.

The black did not match my hair well, so that may have exacerbated my experience, but I found this product extremely unnatural looking. Aside from it not matching, wherever you spray it then looks completely matte, which then doesn't blend in with the rest of your (more shiny) hair.

The product was also messy. It comes with no instructions on the can about distance, etc so you'll inevitably end up with some on your face, which looks like soot. When I brush my fingers through my hair, black dust comes away on my fingertips.

Sadly, I don't find this any better than the novelty spray hair you can get at Halloween.

was hesitant but very surprise at the results

was a little hesitant to try this at the store but when I saw it on here I was kinda excited when I was chosen to try it. I have naturally light brown hair but dye it black, by the time I received in the mail I was due for a touch up so it was a perfect time to try it. first I applied it to my roots when my hair was down.. covered everything I could see (very happy). Then I put my hair up and I could see a few spots were my old color was coming through, with just a few spray everything was even color and I was out the door. This is a great product as you can quickly touch up if you don't have time to dye your hair again (which usually takes up 30 minutes), I was only 5 min touching up and very happy with the results. I will def be keeping a bottle on hand as would be perfect for last min events and it easily washes out with one shampoo.

Keeps my Grey's away

Love the ease of the product. The color that I used was black..Had good coverage on my Grey's. Liked the nozzle so it targets the strain hairs perfectly

Better than other root retouchers I have tried

I have tried many different grey cover up products before and I will have to say that this Schwarzkopf root retoucher (black colour) is the best I tried for covering up my greys. I have really dark black hair so the grey really pops out for me and is so difficult to cover up once the roots grow out. Other sprays I have tried did not do the job and leave a hard layer on my hair making it feel pretty oily and crusty by the end of the day. This particular product did not make my hair feel hard after spraying and i barely notice that it is in my hair throughout the day.

The spray is so dark though that i did notice 2 black spots on my scalp near areas that are balding a little. That's probably my fault for not spraying it properly. However, it was pretty easy to rub off my scalp so it is not a big issue. Otherwise I really enjoyed it and I will definitely replace my root retoucher with Schwarzkopf. #gotitfree

I got this in the mail the other day. Was really easy to use. Fast spray. Washes after one shampoo which I'm big really fond of. Cause it's probably expensive to buy if it wasn't a sample. Not sure if I would buy cause I would like a permanent one not a wash off.
