A caesar not like the rest

I understand what Smirnoff was going for as Mott's has claimed the market on this in Canada. And initially I only tasted vodka and tomato juice, but as I delved deeper, the spice of celery seeds stood prominently on my tongue. As the final ingredient states, 'clam broth' is added, but not to imitate Clamato juice. I just feel that a bit more of the clam broth added could be more pronounced and the celery salt could be reduced by miles! Not to taste the same as the industry standard, but there is FAR too much celery salt in this drink and not enough 'clam broth' or vinegar substitute for the tangy alternative. I would not recommend this to anyone who has had a proper Caesar. Take it with Mott's Clamato, and it's okay to use Smirnoff vodka...add some spices and some sauces and you are good to go. This isn't a good 'on-the-go' Caesar. Smirnoff could do better, without replicating the original. Awful would be a perfect descriptor. The flavours are abhorrent. Go with Mott's or make your own, but don't buy this garbage. Unless you like tasteless celery and spiceless Caesars. (I prefer a spicy Caesar as it adds to the complexity of the clam broth, tomato juice and lime, with pretty much any kind of cheaper vodka.) This is for people who can't appreciate a good drink.
