I know most people really love this chair for its modern lines and the fact that the baby eats at the table "with" the family, but it just did not work for us. For new eaters it is extremely EXTREMELY messy. Like, we had to change her clothes after every meal. We considered feeing her in nothing but her diaper, but it seemed kind of weird. Also, if you didn't completely scrub down the table after every meal pureed food would cake on the table like cement. There is a $100 tray you can buy that sticks on the table, but that seems kind of overpriced to me. I hope we can use it again as a booster seat when she's older, but in the mean time we bought a $85 plastic version at babies r us that saves us sooooo much time cleaning up.
