Beautiful doll

Amazing doll

Gave the doll to child for her fourth birthday. She enjoyed it and said she loved playing with her new birthday gift doll named Valentina. She played with her older sister and brushed the dolls hair.

Great doll

This is a very sturdy doll. Immediately my daughter tried taking off her accessories. The hair was attached well. The clothing fits other major brand dolls. The toy is very durable as my ASD daughter has taken it everywhere with her. The joints on the limbs are sturdy and do not break.

Pretty doll, cool hair, weird outfit.

Butterly & Spin Master Toys sent me this Valentina doll from the Netflix series Unicorn Academy to review, so let’s do it!

I have never watched this series nor do I know anything about the character Valentina, so I’m going be looking at this doll the same way I would review any of my dolls, figures and collectibles.

First impressions - this is a 9.5” tall “fashion doll” type of toy and she’s cute! She has a very pretty face. The sculpt is a semi-realistic style - obviously the eyes are huge (and just printed on) but she has a nice nose and lips, and a subtle chin. I can see folks complaining she has too much makeup or not enough makeup but I think that the face-up she has is pretty. Her hair is very unique! I love the multicolor streaks that took a lot of wefting to achieve, and the style with the half-up bun is neat.

(Second impression - I can envision some doll customizers doing some cool things re-styling the hair and re-doing the faceup. It’s a good canvas to work with!)

Her outfit design is giving me 90’s Disney channel vibes. It’s cool but I personally don’t love the style, and to be critical the sewing construction is not the best. The gloves (and boots) are removable, but I wouldn’t recommend removing them too often because I can see it getting damaged over overtime due to the material it’s made of.

The doll is jointed and can pose well. Elbows and knees are articulated. Too bad the wrists are not, but I do understand that they are targeting a younger age group here. More points of articulation means an extra point that can possibly get broken.

Final thoughts - with a MRSP of $16.99, this doll is a good value and a doll I would have liked as a kid. To older collectors, don’t overlook the possibilities of customizing this doll line!

Cute little doll, my granddaughter liked it and played with her for a while she wasn’t familiar with this character so she wasn’t so intune with the doll but I’m sure she would make a lot of kids happy to receive one!

Unicorn Academy Valentina Doll

The Unicorn Academy Valentina Doll was a hit with the kids.

They loved dressing up the doll as it has removable parts such as shoes and clothing, including gloves. It also came with a comb for the dolls hair.

I especially loved how the kids used their imagination to play with Valentina as if like in the show.

Definitely a good toy to keep the kids entertained and a good time pass for the kids.

Beautifully Detailed Doll

My daughter absolutely loves this doll. She is amazed by her gorgeous highlighted hair and can't stop brushing and styling it. I doll itself is very good quality with many features that bring it to a higher standard then some. The quality of the hair is great as it is silky and easy for children to play and manage. The dolls body has joints so it is easy to move and bend making it great for little ones to play with. And the clothes are a great material that does not feel cheap like other brands. Overall Valentina is a very cute doll for any little one to add to their collection. I would definitely purchase other dolls from the Unicorn Academy collection.

My Daughter loves it

Valentina is such a lovely character, and my little girl loves watching her on Netflix! She was so excited to be gifted this beautiful doll, it captures all the charm of the character, from her bright red hair to her adorable outfit. Watching her play and recreate scenes from the show is such a joy.

This doll is great for my 6 year old who knows Unicorn Academy. She really enjoys playing with it,she loves doing the dolls hair, the hair is so long and silky unlike other barbie style dolls,the hair is hard to manage but this one is simple for her and it came with a brush..very happy little girl!
