They need to go back to the drawing board with this razor. The Flexiball only goes left and right, which is actually more annoying than anything, and the blades do not stay sharp for long at all! I never even bought refills due to this reason. It's just not a high quality enough product to be worth the price they are charging.

I buy it myself becaus I had to try the swirl Ball. But for real? ?!!! Is this really swirling. I think its just a catch to buy New rasors. Anyways now its new I continue to used it....

This didn't blow me away like I was hoping it would. I thought it would move a lot more than it actually did. It didn't move to match the shape of my body that I was shaving like they advertised. It had a nice shave the first use, and then after that it wasn't anything special. It's your average razor. I stopped using this before the end of the month and I haven't gone back to it.

Bon rasoir, par contre je ne vois pas vraiment de différence avec le venus embrace. La sensation est la même et l'usage n'est pas plus facile en raison de la bille pivotante.

Not quite what I expected..
Figured I would give is few tries before I decide on my verdict on the product. So my initial feeling was that it is very pretty. Nice colors and feels good in the hands but truthfully I was expecting movement like the the Dyson vacuum..lol. The ball is a a plastic piece that truthfully doesn't seem to move any more then their other razors. The blade is nice though. The lotion strip lasted 4 shaves and didn't get all goopy like other lotion blades which was nice. My daughter though it looked pretty but didn't notice anything different in the razor. She has been shaving for awhile now and said she found that the razor did give her a very close shave but wasn't any better then her current Gillette razor.Gillette make nice razors but I don't think I would pay any extra for this razor over one of their other ones.

i bought my husband this razor for men and he loved it. so i couldn't wait to buy one and excited to try it but i was really disappointed. i did not get a close enough shave that i do with my other razor. i also found it some what difficult to hold. i also found the razor to pull the hair rather then a clean shave. I also found the replacements to be very expensive. i have had this razor for about a month and the blades didn't last more then 3 shaves and my husband is still on the first blade ( he shaves every other day where has i shave once a week) that alone was a big disappointment. I also didn't find the flex ball to make much of a difference in how the whole razor worked.

It works well, but I feel like woman's razors are so over priced. To buy replacement cartridges is so expensive. In the end it's cheaper to buy a new razor every time. Otherwise this product worked well and I was happy with its performance.

When I used the violet swirl, I could not even feel the blades on my skin combined with the touch of olay shave gel. The shave was smooth & quick. Didn't see the roller ball move maybe it was how I shave my legs. Found that I am not shaving as much now with using the combination of both products - this is a plus. Who wants to shave every day if you don't have to.

The purple stuff around the razor, I left it sitting on the wet sink and it got all gooey. Make sure you put the razor upside down to dry, my mistake.

The razor itself was fashionable looking & pretty purple - would love to see pink, blue, lime green as color options.

Overall both are good but not my 1st pick in a razor

I really wanted to love this razor, I did... but I just can't say that I would recommend it. When I use it, I feel like it is missing a ton of hair, I don't know how to explain that, but the blades fill up super quickly (and I shave often, so it isn't like I'm trying to shave 6 months of growth), and then they are hard to clear, so it never feels like it is getting as close as it could. Maybe the blades are too close together? Because they get clogged so easily and quickly, I feel like it slips and slides and the probability of cutting myself is high. The ball part seems kind of useless, to be honest. Won't be buying this one again.

The venus swirl razor, not the best I have ever tried. I was afraid to cut myself since i am used to the 2 blade razors, but I was fine. The pivot squeaked a lot, sounded horrible while shaving. I can't believe how loud it was, really not a strong point if you want to relax in a bath and shave too. The shaving cream they recommend you should use, I tried it with the razor as well. The Gillette Venus brand with a touch of olay, violet swirl shave gel. I was disappointed. It didn't lather up as much as expected, had to use more of it. It didn't leave a remarkable smoothness it just was smooth like the usual skintimate brand I use. I am not a huge fan of the smell and the shave wasn't that close neither. I am glad I didn't purchase these two products, I would have been out of some money and disappointed too.

The razor is a beautiful purple, my favourite colour. Love the swirls and colour, the chrome look of the ball is not too in your face, but you do notice it. Looks high tech and cool, but does nothing to enhance the shave. I didn't find it to be beneficial at all. It just squeaked a lot and I was afraid to wake up the neighbors. haha... It is loud, squeaked the entire time, not sure if it needs to be oiled, but the olay could have helped. hehehe... Not the smoothest shave, felt the stubble a few hours after and my hair doesn't grow that fast or thick. It never did shave close. Just grazed the lawn it seems. The other areas of the body are a little tricky. Arm pits were fine, needed so much shave gel, the lather is just not there. Smells a little too close to the man version, smells manly and rough, a little like spring breeze or mountain fresh for men. Not at all a fan of smelling like my man. Would like to attract him, not repel him. Had to reapply twice, to make sure it was covered and the shave wasn't close. Not a huge fan of the Venus Swirl. Too bad, was the coolest looking one to date, for my taste. I have the original Gillette sensor, a 2-bladed invention and it has been with me for so many years, I lost count. My true friend in the battle of hairy days. haha... Not disappointed with my trustworthy friend, but these 2 products, not happy at all with the outcome. Expected more from Gillette, especially Venus, being the shave of the goddesses, not investing in new blades, might not even finish this one, will toss it and move on.
