If you want a similar feel as a wax finish, then you will definiately want to try this razor! Now I have always loved the Venus brand; I love how they are always bringing out jew style and better reault razors. Venus seem to know how to keep up with us everyday girls. With this razor I especially love the ball joint so much easierto shave around your ankles as I am sure we all have had some pretty ugly slices come from shaving, the only reason I did not five star this razors was due to it not having five blades but other then that love the outcome.

Love this! It makes shaving around my ankles and knees a breeze! Will definitely re-purchase more cartridges again and again. It makes shaving a little easier.

I really like this razor. It makes it nearly impossible to nick yourself because it follows the bumps and curves of your skin. It does a close shave, and doesn't dry out my skin the way some other razors do.
The colours and patterns are also pretty and fun.
It is expensive though!

My little girl is growing up. She has been asking me about the hair on her legs and she is also comparing her legs to mine. I was planning to go shopping with her to buy her first razor, so it was right timing when I received the Gillette Venus Swirl razor and shave gel through a promotion. That night, she had her first shave. I showed her how to lather up her legs with the Olay Violet Swirl Gel. She glided the razor up her legs and was amazed how easily the swivel head moved around her knees. I was thankful that she did not get any cuts. Her legs were very smooth and soft afterwards. She absolutely loves the purple razor.

I bought this razor because I saw it on the end of an aisle at walmart...you know, gotta try new things...and I really like it! It works better than most disposable razors. The only downside as always, is the price of replacement blades. I believe a 4 pack of blades cost around $25 where I live...that's ridiculous!

This new razor left my skin really soft, and was easier to get all the hair around and on the knees!

I tried the new Venus Swirl razor before giving my younger cousin a blade to try for herself... And I admit that I was doubtful that it would be different than any other basic razor.
At a glance, the flexiball looked more visual than functional. I was wrong. That flexiball makes a really big difference, especially in tricky areas. I expected that it would take too much pressure to get it to angle, which might cause razor burn, but it moves pretty effortlessly. Bikini area was a breeze. Sold!
My cousin was nervous about trying it, but it worked out great for her too. No nicks at the ankles!
The shave gel is moisturizing and didn't cause any rashes (her skin is very sensitive). I don't think we'll be able to go back to a razor without the flexiball as long as the price point is close to the next best razor (I haven't seen it on shelves yet though, so I'm not sure on price). Overall we're very impressed. No complaints after a week of use (and with an almost teenager.... If there was something to complain about, she would! ;)

I didn't find that it was any different then any of the other Venus razors. But I find Venus razors work great.

This is my favourite shaving razor. It really does make your skin soft and smooth.

Good razor, great results the price for replacement cartridges is quite steep tho.
