It's okay

I received this for free as part of the product review club. I have been using it every other day for about a week. I have a hard time overcoming the smell of the balm. It smells very chemical and strong. I also didn't feel that it did anything to my thicken my hair. Some positives though are that it was easy to wash off and didn't appear to leave any residue and that it did make my hair feel nice.

More time needed to see results

I received this free from the chick advisor product review club. I have fine, thin hair, and it feels like I have tried every product on the market to try and thicken my hair, so trying a new one is something I was very much looking forward to, hoping for some results.

At first I noticed the strong, almost medicated smell of this conditioner, which is a little off putting, but maybe a sign that it will work.

I've used it for 3 days now, which for a product like this, is not really long enough to say if it works or not. If I do start to see some results, I plan to pick up the rest of this product line.

As a stand along conditioner, it does leave my hair feeling very soft and smooth, without having to use very much product at all.

Works almost instantly

I didn't even know Vichy had hair care products, I always thought vichy was skin care only. So when I receieved my Vichy restoring thickening balm I was extremely excited to test it out. After all Vichy is one of my most trusted skin care products.

I have very long wavy hair. Over the years I have dyed it, styled it with products and I've used a flat iron. One of my most concerns lately with my hair is how flat it looks. This product came to me for free in exchange for my review. I couldn't have been a better fit.

The first thing I noticed was the smell. I didnt even have to open the box to smell it. Smell is not something that bothers me. I actually prefer a strong scent. I used this as directed on the bottle. I dried and ironed my hair as usual. I could instantly feel my hair is much stronger. It also looks fuller and smells amazing.

I will definitely continue using this product.

Ok. So I #gotitfree from #VichyLoverCA but OMG I'm hooked! My hair recently started thinning and falling out a lot after using a certain medication and almost dead like. This has been an amazing turnaround in just the one week of use. I feel my hair starting to have life to it again. Will update review in a couple of more weeks use.

Time will tell

I received this product free in exchange for an honest review.

It will take a few more weeks of usage before I can say whether or not it made a difference in hairfall, but for now it is at least a very nice conditioner! Unfortunately my review was wanted right away, so I have only been able to try it once.

Pros:
- nice smell
- psychological boosting "feels like it's doing something" minty tingle
- don't seem to need to use a lot of product, about half or less than I normally need for my usual conditioner
- my hair seems a little less frizzy
- my scalp feels less dry
- doesn't seem to "build up" on hair; no parabens/silicones

Cons:
- relatively expensive
- you need to use all 3 products (shampoo, conditioner, and "concentrate") to get the strengthening/fallout reducing effects

Overall, I will continue to use it and see if any improvements happen, it is supposed to start causing improvements after a few weeks. If any of my local stores decide to carry it (none of them do at this time) I will try to get the shampoo and concentrate to give it a more fair trial.

Part of a 3 step routine.

I am fortunate to have received the Dercos shampoo and concentrate for free from Chick Advisor. However when I found out this was part of a 3 step routine I went to Pharmaprix and picked up the restoring thickening balm. I'm glad I did because using these three products together has given me more body and volume along with the appearance of thicker hair. This balm moisturizes without weighing the hair down. It has a menthol/citrus scent which some may not like but I find invigorating. It rinses out easily and leaves my scalp feeling tingly and clean.

Although I have only used the densi-solutions products a few times I'm already seeing results. As of yet it doesnt seem to be helping with hair loss but I'm hoping with continuous use I will see even more results. I will definitely update my review on all three Dercos densi-solutions products after a few months of using them once I know the full effect of long term use.

Great

This product for hair from Vichy is great , I did really like it , it really helped my thining hair so much , as I was struggling with thinking hair from a long time , this product cake in the good time , after using it for a few times I noticed a good difference my hair is getting thicker from the roots and the good thing is that my hair is not losing its weight , which is a great thing and don’t forget about the most amazing fragrance it has , I loved it , thanks to chickadvisor and Vichy Canada for giving me the chance to try it for free I do recommend it

Not sure

I’ll be honest I #gotitfree and had a deadline to rate this. I got this a little late so I only had a chance to use it once but will update if my opinion changes.

I used this and didn’t immediately notice a change but that could be because my hair isn’t thin per say (I’m a strawberry blonde) so my hair is naturally a little thinner than average but I was lucky that my hair has always been kind of in between but it’s been thinning a little as I get older (mid 20s). So maybe I just don’t need this product. I’ll have to continue to use this to find out but I will say that it didn’t negatively effect my hair.

Finally have the hair I had as a teenager again

My hair started to thin and fall out in my early 20s, so I was extremely excited to try this. I've tried many other hair thickening/volumizing products and nothing really worked until this.
Right away after the first time I used it I noticed my hair was softer, thicker and had much more volume to it. I'm excited to see how my hair is after each wash now as each time my hair becomes thicker and more beautiful.

You can tell it works immediately and even in the shower, you can feel your scalp tingling when it is applied to your hair.

The one downfall to this product is the scent, which is extremely powerful. Even after I unboxed it and put it in my bathroom without opening the bottle, within an hour my bathroom smelled the menthol oil ingredient in it.

The value is decent, depending on how important your hair is to you. I've been looking for years to find something that would actually work, so to me this is a great value and will continue to use it and most likely buying it again in the future.

Very moisturizing

I was lucky to get to try this balm for free. I have thin hair so I was very interested in this product. I've only used it a few times but it has left my hair super soft and moisturized. It also has a nice scent. I'm not sure if it making my hair thicker but its acting as a great moisturizer hair mask.
