Happy 8-year old!

I knew my 8 year old nephew would love it. He's been reading Harry Potter with his mother for some time now, and love all the spells. He was elated when he pulled it out of the packaging. He has a couple of others, including one that lights up. He was pretty surprised and happy to get this one too.

Fun for the little witch or wizard

We were given the opportunity to open a Wizarding World Harry Potter Magical Collectors Wand Blind Box. We love a mystery box so this was exciting, and my one has been wanting a proper wand for quite a while. Inside the blind box packaging, reveal a surprise 12-inch character wand with a metallic gold Hogwarts display base and die-cast icon accessory unique to the character. Every replica Magical Collector Wand features authentic details and a weighted base, perfect for pretend play storytelling.

Of course part of the fun is discovering which wand you will get, and as my little one points out, it’s probably best to go in without expectations. That way you are happy with whatever you get. If you have a little witch or wizard in your life they are likely to enjoy this toy.

It was such an exciting mystery for my little one when she opened up her wand. Getting Dumbledore's wand was just like being chosen! The detail was amazing and she loves it!

Wizarding world here we come

Had an opportunity to experience the magic of Harry Potter with the Magical Creatures series of Wizarding World Magical Collector Wand.

It came with a surprise blind box where you will be able to unbox a replica 12-inch Magical Collector Wand with a metallic gold Hogwarts display base and die-cast icon accessory. We received Neville Longbottom, the real Gryffindor's cherrywood with a unicorn hair core wand. The wand was nicely made. The collector wand is perfect for Harry Potter fans and collectors, it is a great accessory for anybody to pretend to cast our favourite spells. Our daughter had hours of fun and when the wand was not in use, we were able to nicely place it into the display stand, such a nice decor addition to our library.

Make the magic happen!

I have received Wizarding World Harry Potter - Magical Collector Mystery Wand for free to try and share my feedback. Of course I gave it to my little me. She recently was watching all Harry Potter movies and was very excited to receive his magic wand. It made from a good plastic, light and looks real. Now she wants more of those wands :)

Great for Any Harry Potter Fan!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Mystery Wand is such a fun product. You start with the anticipation of not knowing what wand you are getting, but are pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product that it really doesn't matter whose wand you get. It would have been nice to have gotten a wand of a main character (I got Cho Chang's wand), but I would still recommend this based on the highly quality of the product. A+++

With 9 different collector wands, the girls are looking forward to collecting them all!

Great Wizarding Wand!

We received Luna Lovegood's wand to try, and while my kids were really hoping for Harry's wand they were happy with Luna's too! The packages come unmarked, so you don't actually know which wand is in your box until you open it. While that increases the excitement of the mystery it can also cause disappointment with young kids, as there are 9 different wands to collect. It also makes it very difficult to collect all 9 wands, if you really wanted to collect them.
The wand and the majority of the wand stand are made out of plastic, however the wand itself has a bit of heft which is nice when your casting spells, it adds to the correct 'flick'! While each of the 9 wands have a slightly different shape, they are all made out of brown plastic and appear fairly nondescript. The item that is truly unique with each wand is the little diecast magical creature that you set on the wand stand for decoration, and weight. To me, and to my children the diecast creature was a bit more special then the wand itself. That said the kids had lots of fun casting spells with the wand too.
One thing I found odd with the packaging was the targeted age group. The box says 14+ and this toy is much too young for a 14 year old. My seven year old loved it, and I think that is a better age for this toy. An older child might want to collect the wands, but since you can't select for a wand you might be missing in your collection, it is unlikely they will purchased as a true collectable.
All in all, a fun, magical toy for a child under 10. Thank you Spin Master for letting us test this for free. #gotItFree

Cool collectible

This is a pretty neat collectible for a Harry Potter fan! There are 12 Wizarding World Magical Collector Wands to collect and I received Fred Weasley’s! The details of the magical wand are very good and the diecast owl is super cool! There’s not much else to it, it doesn’t make sound or anything like that so the kids lose interest in it pretty quickly but I think they’ll appreciate it more at an older age.
