Love it!

Balsam & Cedar by Yankee Candle instantly brings the cozy magic of the nture into my home. The blend of fresh balsam, aromatic cedarwood, and a hint of juniper creates the perfect  forest vibe. It’s strong without being overwhelming, and it fills the room with a comforting, woodsy scent that feels grounding and nostalgic. I always reach for this one when I want my space to feel warm and peaceful.

Woodsy fresh scent

Love the fresh woodsy scent. I used this daily during my skincare routine. At home spa like experience to deep breathe, slow down and let go of the day stress. Highly recommend adding this to your slow moments and routines.

Great smelling, not overly strong

This candle has a wonderful earthy smell and comforting glow. If the fragrance was a bit more powerful while burning, this would be the perfect buy. The design is aesthetically pleasing.

Fresh scent in a beautiful jar

This candle comes in a stunning glass jar that looks perfect anywhere I put it in my house, either in my living room while watching a movie or in my bedroom when I’m just relaxing. This scent is nice but I think it’s more of a fall/winter scent than it is summer (reminds me of a Christmas scent especially with the green packaging). I would purchase more of these candles.

Loving this new look for Yankee Candle!! And this Balsam & Cedar scent is making me sooo excited for fall (never thought I would be saying that). It’s the perfect mix of cedarwood, amber, vanilla and pine that results in a lovely warm woody fragrance.

Mentally in the forest

My only wish is that this could be e even stronger, I LOVE the woodsy cedar smell! This immediately makes me feel like i’m out at camp enjoying the clean forest air

Aroma was so good

I loved how it transformed my moods through out the day.. Great aroma. Mostly I should mention about the design of the candle which gives you the high class look. Only concern was the way how it appeared after one burn. Around the burning area of the candle,but it still looks pleasant..

Beautiful Candle, Interesting Scent

Received for free in exchange for an honest review.
My impressions:
-at the very first sniff I could tell someone tried to create a coniferous forest scent. However, to me it doesn’t smell fresh or natural, which I was kind of expecting because I had the Yankee Candle Lilac Blossoms and it smelled like real lilac flowers.
I did not smell anything from the top notes:
-Crisp Citrus (was the reason why I chose this candle, but nothing citrus about it)
-Herbs (ah, not really? Just pine scent)
-Red Berry (this candle might not smell sweet at the first impression, but a bit later (after burning for some time), you can feel deep sweet smell, think of sugar dissolved in hot water. I did not smell any berry sweetness.
From the middle notes, I could really feel the attempt to recreate Pine (not really Pine Balsam, it’s not deep enough; but that surface level pine scent is very clear). Felt some Cedar and little Sandalwood scent.
From the base notes, I could feel light Vanilla, Warm Amber and Musk.
I waited for just a little more than 2 hours until the entire top
layer became a pool of liquid wax
from edge to edge. The room
smelled like hot wax, and once that
initial wax smell goes away there was
a deep cedar/woody smell, a little sweet too.
After burning for two hours
the candle developed a richer smell.
The pine scent became less noticeable, while cedar and sweetness got deeper.
4 stars because I feel like the recreation of pine balsam could’ve been better, but everything else
is great. I really like the beautiful shade of green glass that can be reused after, the size, and of course the materials used.
The reason why I wouldn’t purchase this candle is the scent specifically. It’s very subjective of course, but I would recommend it to those who might enjoy it.

Woodsy and Intriguing

The initial scent gives a Balsam woodsy scent. But as it burns, the warm amber and vanilla notes come through. It reminds me of a walk through the woods after a summer storm. It's intriguing and comforting.

This scent is pretty much a classic one. You cannot go wrong. It’s very masculine, spa-like 💆🏼‍♀️. 
For house candles, I like to have this type of woody or fresh fragrance 🌿. Here is the composition of the scent: 
 
🍀 Top notes: Crisp Citrus, Herbs, Red Berry.  
🍀 Middle notes: Pine Balsam, Cedar, Sandalwood.  
🍀 Base notes: Vanilla, Warm Amber, Musk.  
 
Once lit, the candle scent is subtle but it lingers long even I blew it off 🌬️
