Stuff that I need for a relaxing home - candle & dessert!🕯️🍰 Got to try the Sage & Citrus fragrance @yankeecandle and I love the aroma. Love the aromatic sage which mixes with the zesty lemon and it feels so refreshed. 🍋 The lavender base notes create a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere especially for a busy week. 💜 Now I am ready for the weekend! ☺️

An elevated classic

Yankee Candle now has a new line of candles made with essential oils. With a wide range of scent offerings you are sure to find your perfect match. I chose Sage & Citrus and it is the quintessential blend of fresh and earthy. I love to light my yankee candles in the evenings as I wind down for the night with a cup of tea, and a show. It sure is an instant stress reducer after a long hard day.

How to add calmness and coziness?

For me, it smells like a fresh and peaceful evening by the sea. Lavender complements the scents of lemon and sage perfectly and helps create a relaxing atmosphere at home. The candle burns for a long time, doesn't smoke, and its scent is quite intense and fills the entire house.

Beautiful but scent a bit too subtle

Yankee Candle Sage & Citrus

The candle has a beautiful, clean design that blends effortlessly with almost any decor—very modern and elegant. Before lighting, the scent is fresh, slightly herbal, and gives off an expensive feel. It’s a lovely fragrance that suggests calm and cleanliness.

Once lit, however, the scent throw is quite subtle. You can catch hints of it here and there, but it doesn't strongly fill the room like some other Yankee Candles. Another downside is the occasional release of black smoke ("tisne"), which was unexpected and slightly disappointing.

That said, the burn time is decent, and for light ambiance or a gentle scent background, it’s still a solid choice. I’d recommend it for people who prefer mild, non-overpowering aromas.

Sage & Citrus - refreshing and clean smelling

The sage and citrus candle is a gorgeous green candle that smells refreshing and clean, burns clean and added a great scent to my home. The scent started out a bit strong and then mellowed out over a couple hour period. It's a medium sized candle and I would have loved the larger size variety.

I’ve really been enjoying the Sage & Citrus candle from Yankee Candle. I usually light it after cooking, and it just changes the whole vibe of my space. It helps clear out all the food smells and replaces them with this soft, clean citrus scent that’s really calming. I honestly didn’t expect to love it this much, but it’s become part of my little self-care routine at home, especially after my baby goes to sleep.

Smell is incredible

The BURST of scent I got as soon as I opened the box made me so excited! It’s such a calming scent that fills the room! I can even smell it, unlit, whenever I walk by

I was excited to be given the opportunity to test this beautiful new line of candles from Yankee candle! The jars are gorgeous & definitely look great anywhere in my home! The wide mouth makes it easy to light & allows for a large melt-pool - letting out more fragrance! The Sage & Citrus scent is fresh & clean.

Refreshing and relaxing!!

As a huge candle fanatic, I was so excited to receive this candle to try it out! All I have to say is WOW!

When it comes to candles, I am not a fan of fake smelling or perfumy candles. This is the complete opposite of that. The citrus and sage smells so natural and not overpowering.

This is an absolute staple for creating a fresh scent in a home!
