Buildable shine

I loved the fruity fragrance this lip oil stick has and that it is hydrating, leaving your lips soft and shining. The colour is buildable as well to create your preferred colour payoff. I went more bold with 150. The formula is enriched with fig pulp and 6 pure nourishing oils for visibly softer and healthier looking lips. The finish is a light reflecting semi-sheer wet shine that is smooth and not sticky at all. It makes your lips look and feel great. They are definitely my new go-to nude lipstick.

Loveshine from YSL

How lucky am I to be selected to test out these shades from their LOVESHINE lipstick collection?!! In exchange for my honest review of the products I agreed to post this review. I wasn’t sure if I wasn’t applying the lipstick correctly or if it just wasn’t for my complexion but I felt like the consistency was too light. My lips didn’t feel as hydrated as with their other lipsticks. The sheer was really light and I think I was expecting more of a Lip stain which might make my view bias based on expecting a heavier application.

It is actually an okay product though. It has gorgeous packaging and great shade / hues for all occasions.

YSL LOVESHINE shades • Vacay Essentials

I adore YSL! I was super excited to be selected to test out these shades from their LOVESHINE lipstick collection in exchange for my honest review of the products. Overall an okay product though. It has gorgeous packaging and great shade / hues for all occasions. Mild enough for everyday wear.

Perfect for that smokey eye

I love how moisturizing this lipstick is. While it doesn't provide a lot of color it works well over a lip liner or stain. I do love this for keeping a slightly pink neutral lip with a smokey eye. I just wish it were cheaper.

Perfect for summer

I had the opportunity to try this lipstick on #150. It is very moisturizing and leaves my lips feeling very soft and supple. However this does not provide a huge color payoff. You would probably need to wear this over a sil liner or stain to help complement the color. It is perfect for a neutral look.

Not only did I see that quality absolutely does make a world of a difference, but it gave me a new appreciation for it! These YSL lip oils are sheer, nourishing, moisturizing, and perfect for everyday wear! Since it is a lip oil the amount of product you get is really quite impressive! The shade 44 and 150 are 2 shades I can confidently wear everyday with all make up looks. They are absolutely worth it, and complete and lip combo!
