Good but not impressive

I tried this syrup for my daughter. I liked the fact that I don't have to worry about the ingredients. However it was not very effective, her cough didn't change a bit after a few days I gave her. I am not sure if it works but I like the ingredients.

Average cough and cold product

We tried out the Zarbees cough and mucus syrup and it was ok. The flavour was a little bit strong for my son, but it seemed to work for what we were treating. The “dosing cup lid” is too bulky and big to really use for a little kids dose so I’m glad we had a different medicine cup. I do like that it has natural ingredients and natural sweeteners. I wouldn’t go out of my way to choose this over other natural cough products though.

Great Ingredients, Kids didn’t like taste

I love that the ingredients I use for myself when I’ve got a cough are all in this syrup, especially zinc and honey. Unfortunately, my twins would not take it because they didn’t like the taste. They’re 5 and stubborn; my older kids would likely quickly swallow it and chase it with water, but if you have a child who can’t just swallow a syrup if they don’t like the taste, this one might not be suitable.

Not great...

The packaging is really cute! Unfortunately my kid took one lick and wouldn't try it. He is 2 and I don't think he liked the colour. I wish they had an insert explaining what each ingredient did since I don't know about ivy, etc.

Natural ingredients

As a parent, I liked the idea of this product due to its natural ingredients. My daughter has a persistent cough every fall, so we tried this product. It didn't work as well as a comparable holistic cough syrup.

I mean..

So I've been using this product as instructed with my child and while he doesn't mind the taste he still coughing. Yes the doctor is aware and its just hanging on...Will try the product a little longer for a full review

Great product, unfortunate flavour.

I love everything about this products ingredients however my very picky son did not like the flavour and therefore I could not truly test it's effectiveness. I chose ingredients as to why I would not purchase based solely on the flavour. I really wanted him to try something of this quality so I am disappointed he didn't like it.

Tastes and smells disgusting

I tried this product because I thought it looked like it might have less added ingredients, and therefore be better overall as to what would be ingested.

However, the thick, smelly goo is horrible! I have no idea how well it works, if at all, as no one in my family can stand it. I was sad to toss out an expensive (and possibly less harmful) product, but it had to go and will not re-enter our home.
