Baby Bathing - Shampoo Reviews

Newborn and very young infants do not require anything more than warm water for their daily baths if the diaper area is cleaned well after every change.  For those messier cleanups and for toddlers and older children, chemical intervention may be required.  Tots are second only to cats in their love of being shampooed, so a tear-free formula is not only a good idea - it's an inevitable lifesaver.

Our Tip: Baby shampoos are ideal for cleaning your makeup brushes!

Johnson's Original Baby Shampoo is the product Mom probably used when bathing you back in the day and is the best known; however, many other options including natural-ingredient products are also available.

This is the only brand shampoo and conditioner I use on my kids hair. It is gentle and tear free. My kids love the different scents they come in. Also washes their hair and body very well and doesn't leave a soap residue.

I was excited to give this a try, and was sadly disappointed. It smells fantastic, but that's about it, the sprayer on this is just awful, it needs to be revamped with a pump spray instead of the nozzle spray, impossible to get a nice even spray! Price is good though!

Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtle 3 in 1 body wash, shampoo and conditioner has a great container that my child loves. The soap is average at best and the price is crazy but I suppose you are paying for the neat bottle.
Presidents Choice 2 in 1 baby shampoo and conditioner

I bought the shampoo/conditioner combo because I thought it would leave hair feeling soft and silky. It is probably the most drying shampoo that I have every used. It is definitely not suitable for sensitive skin because it left skin feeling irritated.

I like the idea of this product - a baby wash that is more natural, without harmful chemicals, that I can use to wash my son from "the tips of his toes to the top of his fuzzy head." But therein lies the problem: a product for babies that advertises it's ability to wash fuzzy...
