Breast Pumps Reviews

Unless breast-feeding your newborn is completely out of the question for you, a quality breast pump should be one of the first products you list on your baby shower gift registry.  For some, a breast pump is simply a tool of convenience to prepare feedings when you're away from baby.  For others who struggle with milk over- or underproduction, it can be a life saver.

Pumps are available in single or double models and in a range of power sources: electric, manual, and/or battery powered.  Look for a brand whose replacement parts are readily available.  Major brands include Philips Avent and Medela.

Pumpables Liquid Shield Kit (Breast pump flange)

These are the most comfortable, most effective, and best fitting breast pump flanges I have EVER used. I normally just use the standard flanges that come with the Spectra Breast Pumps and have been struggling to find a good fit to help increase my milk supply. Another mother in...
Spectra Synergy Gold Breast Pump

This is a great pump if you don’t mind being plugged into a wall. What I love: This pump has the same great suction, closed system, and night light features of the S1/S2 models. What makes this pump different is the ability to control the level of suction on each side...

I had a preemie! He was not able to latch so I’ve had to pump exclusively. I started pumping with a pump given to me by the NICU, and was worried about getting one for home that would keep up to what that one was! This one is exceptional I am so happy with it I can’t even...

I was gifted the entire Nanobébé milk storage system and feeding set for my shower. My favorite part is the bags and the holder for them that goes in the freezer. It keeps them nice and organized. My baby is mostly EBF, but when I need a short break it’s nice to know he will...

Avent Isis Manual Breast Pump w/4 oz BPA-free Bottle

I started pumping using an electric pump; however I found it inconvenient, loud and just a hastle, so I purched the Avent manual pump. It's easy to use anywhere and easy to clean. I love the Avent bottles so I can conveniently pump directly into the bottles. This pump is an...

We could not find a bottle that my son would use since he was exclusively breastfed for the first 4 months. I love the Kiinde bottle system because since going back to work it makes it so much easier on me and on the babysitter. I pump directly into the bag and then all the...
Spectra S1 Breast Pump

I used Spectra 2 with my first born and loved it. It was great but hated being stuck to the wall while pumping. This pump allowed me to walk around the house while pumping and gave me a chance to still run after the kids or do chores at the same time.
