Red Star Active Dry Yeast

1 review

I have been baking with yeast for a long time now and recently started using Red Star and I am so pleased with the results. It has much finer grains than what I used to use and a less "yeasty" taste. It foams and rises beautifully.
pompeian organic extra virgin olive oil

Recently saw it at my local supermarket and decided to give it a try. So far so good, it does what it is supposed to, I always preferred cooking and baking with non-stick spray and finding one that has EVOO was a plus for me. Would definitely recommend

Robin Hood Flaky pie crust mix is easy to use, just add water. Comes with two pouches, so you can make a full pie. I use it to make topping for chicken pot pie, only for the top!!! works very well
Tenderflake Pure Lard

3 reviews

I have tried making pie crust using butter, i have tried with shortening and with lard. Out of them all I find pie crust made with tenderflake lard is the best. It makes a decadently flaky pie crust every time. When it comes to pastries Tenderflake lard is my number one choice.

Yupik Organic Coconut Flour

The packaging is adorable! The best part: the flour is very finely milled and seems wonderful, but I haven't used it for baking yet. For keto, it's the lowest carb count I've been able to find. Overall very satisfied for the price!

I am a big fan of these eggs for years, eating min 2-5 eggs daily and usually buy them from Costco. Recently, I found the rich orange yolk color that make these eggs unique are missing from those bought in Costco, its more like yellow yolk color - like some cheaper eggs sold. I...
Alligga Organic Flaxseed Oil

This oil works very well for frying. It has a high smoke point so the oil does not burn. More importantly, the oil has no flavor and does not impact the flavor profile of the recipe. Bonus: it's organic! I only wish that it was cheaper. EDIT: The oil has a strong flavor when...
