Stiegl Grapefruit Radler

5 reviews

This is the perfect light, fresh tasting, low alcohol drink. The pairing of grapefruit and beer is surprisingly delicious. This is my favorite of all the grapefruit radlers I have tried. They are reasonably priced, and very yummy.
Pabst blue ribbon

5 reviews

Pabst is a classic beer and has a loyal following. I find it to be tasty in general, although there isn’t really anything special about it that sets it apart. If you’re looking for a refreshing beer with no frills, this might be for you!
Fat chance cider

Amazing Apple cider, brewed in Vancouver BC!
Cassel Brewery Ghost Train

1 review

Cassel brewery is a cute little brewery located in Casselman, Ontario. It literally is right off the railroad tracks. I visited here in 2013 and 2014, and am happy to see their brews starting to enter the LCBO market. I'm trying to find a pumpkin beer that I can actually enjoy...
Broadhead Brewery Grindstone Amber

1 review

Broadhead Brewery is located in the industrial area of Ottawa - the boys who opened it were actually Government workers by day (as advised when we toured there last year)! I like Amber Ales - but Broadheads is just a bit hoppy for my Amber tastes. It is a beautiful amber...
Woodchuck Hard Cider

3 reviews

I tried several flavors and of all the hard cider brands, this one is my fave. The winter edition is the best. The taste is crisp, it's not watered down and it's not too sugary. A perfect light drink for dinner or pizza night.
Broadhead Brewing Long Shot White

1 review

Broadhead Brewery is located in the industrial area of Ottawa - the boys who opened it were actually Government workers by day (as advised when we toured there last year)! This is more of a summer/patio beer - with a citrusy spiced orangy taste to it - not my cup of tea in a...
Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy Beer with Lemonade

1 review

I love a good shandy, not going to lie it's a great way to have a social drink without getting silly (if you happen to be a light weight drinker like myself), but I wasn't too fond of this brand. Maybe it's just because I'm used to mixing a weak beer with homemade lemonade...
Covered Bridge Brewing - MSB

1 review

Covered Bridge Brewing opened up last year not that far from our house, in Stittsvillle, Ontario. They are very creative with a lot of their beers, so they're great for super craft beer lovers. MSB is their Imperial Brown Ale - I normally enjoy browns. This one, not so much...
Big Rig Stud Stout

1 review

Big Rig is a local Ottawa brewery with its flagstaff locations in the Westend. It is owned by one of the Ottawa Senators (whose name I don't recall - I don't pay attention to hockey). I like stouts. But I don't like chocolate or coffee in my beers. Therefore this beer is not...
Kichesippi Beer Co - Radler

1 review

Kichesippi Beer Company is located near Ottawa, Ontario's west end and always has had consistently quality beer since 2010. Radlers. Available in the summertime only, I was unlucky enough to sample this beer. It's a grapefruit based beer...and I'm not fond of grapefruit. This...
Kichesipi Beer Co. - Bristol Stout

1 review

Kichesippi Beer Company is located near Ottawa, Ontario's west end and always has had consistently quality beer since 2010. Bristol Stout. I like stouts. Milk stouts - not so much. I find this just tasted too thick and had an off taste about it - blech.
Beyond the Pale - Darkness

1 review

Beyond the Pale is another Ottawa brewery that is quite experimental with their beers - they always have something new out! The Darkness isn't for me - it's too...bitter in a way that I can't describe. It is dark and creamy, but not quite a stout. I couldn't make my way...
Mill St Lemon Tea Beer

1 review

Mill St Brewery originated in Toronto, Ontario, but also has one of their Flagship brew pubs here, in Ottawa, Ontario - the food is exquisite and they have their main and special beers on tap! This tastes like the description. Like lemon tea...but a beer. There is little to...
Clocktower Brew Pub Bytown Brown

1 review

The Clocktower Brew Pub brews their beers right in their Bank Street location! It's a pub with character and brews to match! There are seven different types of malt in this brew, including coffee, chocolate, toffee, and caramel. I can deal with the caramel and toffee, but the...
Hogsback Brewing Co. - Vintage Lager

1 review

Hogsback Brewing Co. is located in the Hogsback area of Ottawa. I haven't seen their brews on any pub menus, but have had the bottles available at the LCBO. They only brew the one lager (if I'm correct), and I'm not overly keen on it. I find it taste flat and meh - like...
Beau's Tom Green Beer

2 reviews

Beau's beer is very good quality. Most of their varieties are amazing. This Tom Green one- ugh, not for me. It's VERY strong, very bitter, creamy, with notes of tree sap.
Covered Bridge Brewing - Double Double

1 review

Covered Bridge Brewing opened up last year not that far from our house, in Stittsvillle, Ontario. They are very creative with a lot of their beers, so they're great for super craft beer lovers. Double double - which I'm thinking was named after a famous Tim Hortons combo, is a...
Bicycle Craft Brewery - Base Camp Oatmeal Porter

1 review

Bicycle Craft Brewery is located in an industrial park in Ottawa, Ontario. The owners are quite friendly and love their craft! I'm not a huge fan of chocolate...and oatmeal taste in a beer is just not my forte. But I took one for the team, and attempted a sample - thank...
Bud Light Cran-ber-ita

1 review

The winter edition from the bud margarita collection. It has a nice cranberry taste with a slight tequila edge. Genuinely delightful.
