A café requires just one thing to win our hearts: truly decadent coffee. We've come across our fair share of snooty décor, name-dropping baristas, and lack of seating space, but all is forgiven when we're handed our immaculately brewed Americano or Soy Chai Latte - whichever's your preference. The search for the next must-stop java joint is an urbanista's favourite pastime... and when we can find one that also serves a great lunch, well you had us at Bonjour!
In Toronto, we're partial to The Sandwich Box, Le Gourmand, and Sense Appeal Coffee Roasters. Which is your favourite?

This was one of the most charming cafes I've been in but it's very expensive! I came here because a friend of mine invited me. There were so many choices of teas it was mind-blowing. There were so many customers that came just to...

Mountain Bean is one of Winnipeg top coffee (IMHO) shops. I like the decor and the coffee is really very good. I like the comfortable setting and the outdoor tables are nice during the warm summer months. I recommend this fine establishment.

This bakery/restaurant is located in the Time Warner mall in columbus square near central park. It's on the 3rd floor. The pastries are pretty good but a bit pricey.
We came here for a quick breakfast before heading out to the MOMA. 2 pastries and 2 lattes was about $14. For...

Place with amazing idea (Canada's choice for sustainable coffee offering a wide selection of certified organic, shade grown, fairly traded, and Bird Friendly coffees - no conventional coffee here!), fantastic location (right by the lake).

Our first visit to the Grind Stone proved a very worth while trip! We had soup and sandwich special. The sandwich came with your choice of bread, I chose cracked wheat, with horse-radish cheddar cheese and beef! Excellent btw.

Well, where to start! Of course, I'm Canadian, so Timmy's is a staple. Their coffee is truly one of the top coffees out there, and I'm addicted! I don't quite like the new baristas, and because Tim Horton's hires a lot, I meet a lot of those... they're...

this place has soo much potential, great name close to park, interesting space, but it falls flat- the minimalist and boring decor over the 2 story space doe not provide anything that absorbs sound, any clanging of coffee machine, talking etc just bounces off the walls. the...

Love Starbucks cafés. Since I work from home I often relocate to coffee shops for a change of scenery. My local Starbucks is my go to. The atmosphere is perfect for hanging out. Love the music and the social atmosphere. The lattes are amazing though high in sugar.

This location of Starbucks lost my business to bad service a little over a year ago. I've recently decided to give it another shot and have been really impressed with the newfound enthusiasm and excitement of the staff. They're excited to share their knowledge about the coffee...

We went to this restaurant yesterday and ordered a quarter chicken with fries, bun and the sauce. We had ask for the fries to be extra crispy. Well, the fries were very disappointing just barely cooked. The chicken was very well done and rather chewy. The only thing I liked...

My favourite coffee shop to visit on a sunny day. A beautiful location on the waterfront. The Cold Buzz (coffee and ice cream milkshake) is delicious. A lovely variety of baked goods, teas, and coffee. Very friendly customer service, and very willing to offer suggestions.

Star Diner is a must-visit diner to any Kingstonian or those who are visiting the area! Easily over-looked, tucked in to a little nook in the commercial spaces on Princess Street - this place is not to be missed out on. The 1950's theme is carried throughout, from the old, red...
