Cafes Reviews

A café requires just one thing to win our hearts: truly decadent coffee.  We've come across our fair share of snooty décor, name-dropping baristas, and lack of seating space, but all is forgiven when we're handed our immaculately brewed Americano or Soy Chai Latte - whichever's your preference.  The search for the next must-stop java joint is an urbanista's favourite pastime... and when we can find one that also serves a great lunch, well you had us at Bonjour!

In Toronto, we're partial to The Sandwich Box, Le Gourmand, and Sense Appeal Coffee Roasters.  Which is your favourite?

Second cup - Ste-Julie

I love going there, you can come in, sit down, set up your things or wait for your friends and then order. It is a bit small so it tends to fill up fast but it does not get super loud! It has great big windows so a ton of natural light and is well located
Starbucks Britannia

Starbucks Britannia is a great location. Though it’s not the easiest location to get to my favorite barista works here. He’s made the effort to get to know me and always remembers my order. He always asks how I am and makes conversation. This team works hard and does...
Salted Caramel Iced Capp

The new salted caramel iced caps from Tim Hortons are delish. They are quit rich, so ordering a large size might not be wise, but a small one seems just right.
Tim Hortons Lower Sackville

Tims used to be really good. You could go to any restaurant and trust you would get the same high quality, delicious food. Not so much any more since they sold out to the USA. Not only is the quality and flavour gone horribly down hill, but the cust. service has too! Bad food...

Starbucks Yorkdale

I visited this cafe JUST for the amazing organic coffee, and decided to have breakfast as well. I had the Skillet breakfast. The poached egg was rubbery and the toast was cold. The sweet onion "jam" was delightful, though, and was a very welcomed surprise. I ended up buying two...

Where I'm from there are lots of competition with bubble tea places, making it harder to choose. I came across this place through social media and decided to give it a shot. When first coming into the place, it gave an aesthetic and modern vibeeee. Presotea delivers QUALITY AND...
