This product does what it claims, makes the skin cool followed by a hot sensation, but it does not provide actual pain relief I feel like the icy / hot sensations simply distract you from the pain rather than sooth it.

I found this product fairly handy, especially in instances when you are on Vacation or visiting. It is easily applied to the area, can run it in yourself. However, I find that the Extra Strength works much better in desperate pain.
