I saw this movie as a child, took my kids and grandkids to see it. It is truly a wonderful movie for children to experience. A movie like this never gets stale.

This movie is set in the 1800's and stars Mel Gibson, a fantastic actor. It depicts his family's struggles at that time.He sees his sons head out to war and ends up fighting alongside.There are some really sad parts in it, but it is truly enjoyable.

I watched this today and going to watch it again tonight. Yes, it's that good. I can't tell you too much about it without giving the plot away, but it is well worth the watch. It stars Brad Pitt; that in itself should be enough for any warm blooded woman.
