My experience at Buff was terrible. When I walked in the receptionist was talking on her cell phone and when I walked up to the desk she acted as if helping me was a burden. I should have walked out right then but figured she might just be having a bad day. After picking my color, I sat down with my manicurist and she rushed through the buffing and filing. One base coat, ONE color and a quick top coat, she put away her supplies and directed me back to the receptionist to pay. $25 later I walked out less than impressed and with smudged, wet nails. Save your money and don't go to Buff. You'll save both time and money

Buff Nail lounge looks great in the pictures but the service and the staff were disappointing. The ambiance, which was mean to be girly and sweet came off as run down and dirty. The receptionist was more interested in her phone calls than in helping us get organized. The staff was unprofessional and during the course of the appointment kept making ill advised social commentaries . It was not a relaxing experience at all. Furthermore, they charged an extra dollar for the spa flip flops...which is odd considering all spas hand them out for nothing. Plus callous removal is an extra five dollars. For goodness sake just set a price for a decent pedicure and stick with it and stop with all the nickel and diming of customers. Overall it was not a pleasant experience . The staff seems poorly trained to boot.

I went here in July 07 with two girlfriends. We were initially impressed. It is a really lovely spot. Pretty and pink with lovely benches and fabulously scented scrubs that are homemade by the owner. However, we had a very bad experience. The manager is a chain-smoking drill sergeant. She was curt from the outset, seemingly upset that we all were having lounge manicures and pedicures. She was more concerned about the customers who would show up after us and not be able to get in for an hour. (They don't take appointments).

And don't even try to change your mind about the service you want, the manager will yell at you!! Just ask the sweet esthetician who were giggling and equally shocked at her behaviour! As for products, I do not recommend their in-house polish. It is thick and bubbles! I took mine off immediately. Bring your own OPI or Essie - they don't carry either.
