I work here. The Forks is a tourist gem for Winnipeggers, and there's always something going on. Take kids to the Children's Museum or take friends along the river walk and back to Muddy Waters' patio for a wonderful rum punch. The Forks boasts an extensive antique mall, and then within 2 minutes walk North America's largest skate park. There truly is something for everyone and their family.

Ok, so everyone living in Winnipeg knows about this place, so this is for all those who will find themselves in the area for business or family events and are looking for something to do. This area has so many features that cannot be listed in full here, but I'll try: a food market, artisans (jewelry, pottery), restaurants (Branigans, Muddy Waters, Espresso Jcn, Spaghetti Factory), ethnic souvenirs and crafts (Native and Inuit), pool pub (Finn McCue's), outdoor walking trails along the river, river tours from the docks, Children's Museum, open air stage, buskers, MTYP (a theatre company for youth), and so much more. Great atmosphere and affordable gifts and goodies. A favourite for most Winnipeggers.
