Dirty product and still no returns

I bought my wife an expensive pair of boots at Scarpino for Christmas. When she took them out she looked disgusted. "You got me a dirty pair of boots for Christmas!" she exclaimed. Sure enough there was impacted mud on the bottom. Of course she was upset. She said she didn't want any shoes from a store that would sell dirty boots. Even under these circumstances there was no sympathy from the manager, just excuses, no negotiation, and flat repetitions of the "no return" policy. I wish I hadn't shopped there.

every time I go there, I am received with so much warmth and I get all the attention I need. Plus, the shoes I have from them are by far the most comfortable ever. Love everything about this tiny store!

Hate this store with a passion not because the selection is small (true!) and disgustingly overpriced (they are!)but because they have the WORST customer service possible. Slimy store manager Danny who is totally backed by clueless owner Maurice. I can't believe they charge the outrageous prices they do with the archaic store policy of 'exchange only'. I can only conclude that they value greed over quality customer service. I have never had such a bad shopping experience like I had at this store. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!

I love the shoes here as they carry such great brands but (a huge but) the service sucks. I would say there's one associate that is nice but the manager and the other staff were rude and unhelpful. I had a store credit there since they dont give refunds ( unheard of policy nowadays for shoes!) and couldn't wait you use it because it was so uncomfortable shopping there.

No matter what. Just avoid these stores. They have a mix of shoes in quality. The problem is that they do not mention that and the prices are similar no matter the brand. I bought a pair of sandals from the sale rack. They told me they were there because of change of season. The truth was they were super bad quality. I went out of the store wearing them. Just after 3 blocks to go for my car, they were completely damaged. The stripes were broken. After 2 weeks of trying to reach the super "unavailable" manager between the 2 locations. Finally they took the sandals for repair instead of giving me a refund. After 1 time wearing them, they were broken again. Super disappointed. I payed 45 for garbage. They are great to sell, but horrible after to give you customer service when the issues arrive.

I love Scarpino. If you looking for style, comfort & unique, this is the place to be. Staff makes you feel extremely welcomed. I have to go back there again to pick up another pair of 'Fly' brand boots.

every time i've been in there the tall sales girl (i think her name is niaomi?) is always cold. One time she stopped helping me because I was looking at the cheaper shoes. I always notice her and go in shopping when she is not on shift. I havn't stopped by in a while, I hope she doesn't work there anymore. My friend felt the same way, she was with me.

This store made my day! after shopping all day i was frustrated with all the terrible deals and prices of shoes. this unique store carries shoes no other store has! the staff was SO NICE and really cared to help me out! the store was busy but they made me feel like i was an important customer. i HIGHLY recommend this store to both men and women and i know where im shopping for the holiday season!

This store is great! They have the best selection of Fly Shoes in the city and at great prices- I'm hooked!

I had a bad experience with Scarpino Shoes on Queen West in Toronto. My partner bought a pair of boots there and when she got them home she realized they were defective. I brought them back for her and they promised to fix them within a week. I wanted a refund, but was willing to accept a quick repair.

But noone ever called. Two weeks later I went to the store and was told they weren't ready yet, but they would call very soon. I waited more than a month and nothing! Finally almost three months after the original purchase, with no boots and no satisfaction I complained.

I asked for a refund (the boots were for a specific event that had passed a month before), but they refused.

After I complained the store manager lied to me on the phone. She said they had been ready since 5 days after I was there the first time. This wasn't true because I was in the store a week later!! Then she said I had been called since they were ready by 'every member of staff' and repeatedly. This was false, and I challenged her to repeat the claim in writing which she refused to do.

Scarpino is a new low in bad products and bad management. I was shocked to come online and see another customer had been treated the same way. Shame on you Scarpino - maybe my legal action will get your attention.
