The downtown Montreal Bay has a hidden treasure - on the 5th Floor, a SOUP RESTAURANT!

I am not even sure of its exact name, but it is so fantastic.

This place hasn't changed much since the 1960s - bar-stooled tables wrap around where a waitress serves you, service is quick, and the menu is simple - soup, sandwiches, drinks and simple desserts like pouding chomeur, chocolate cake and date squares.

The pea soup is out of this world, and the mini-loaf bread is awesome.

Their hours are short - 11:00am - 2:00pm, and it does get busy!
