Weleda was the brainchild of philosopher Dr. Rudolf Steiner, who taught people that their mind, body, spirit are intrinsically linked to the world as part of one holistic system. From this philosophy sprouted idea of creating health care products that used natural ingredients. These ingredients are cultivated in their own Biodynamic gardens, which they still grow today. This cleanser is very gentle and along with the Almond Cream & Almond Oil. I like to use this when the weather gets cold and dry. It left my skin feeling calm, moisturized and never irritates. The texture is so cresmy and smooth with almond scent makes me happy and relaxing...
