Weleda was the brainchild of philosopher Dr. Rudolf Steiner, who taught people that their mind, body, spirit are intrinsically linked to the world as part of one holistic system. From this philosophy sprouted idea of creating health care products that used natural ingredients. These ingredients are cultivated in their own Biodynamic gardens, which they still grow today.
