Not my favourite product

Not my favourite mascara... very odd mascara wand. Hard to use and apply. Doesn’t last long without flaking! Will not repurchase. Save your money on this one!

Definitely more than "1 coat" required...

I found this mascara on sale at a local drugstore and thought it might be a great buy... I was wrong - the applicator collects too much mascara, causing clumping and smearing and reqires more than one simple coat. I had to apply 2-3 times to reach my desired defined lash look and still didn't reach the bold volume I like. For the naturally makeup-free lash look, this mascara may be a good buy, but not for someone who enjoys length and volume.

Not Loving The Microphone Brush

Almay's one coat MEGA VOLUME mascara has an oddly shaped, microphone brush, that is supposed to add tons of volume to lashes while staying clump free. First of all, the brush is extremely awkward to use. At some point you have to either use your less dominant hand to apply it, or attempt to use the larger end on your inner lashes.

Formula wise, I didn't experience that much volume and I found it clumped on my lashes. Flaked a bit too. I'm grateful for getting the chance to try this product, but I won't be purchasing this in the future.
