Hydrating but high residue

I tried the Aveeno calm + restore age renewal eye gel for four weeks as directed, courtesy of Butterly for my honest review. This eye gel is very very moisturizing and has taken care of any dry skin concerns I had, however my issue lives in the residue and the pilling it causes. The unpleasant part to me was if I rub underneath my eyes, I was getting a fair amount of stuff coming off and I’m not a fan of that, although it’s possibly due to creating a high cell turnover. I’m a busy mom and I can’t always wash my face twice a day so for myself personally it was a little bothersome, however if you have a stable morning and evening skincare routine the hydrating and smoothing properties of this eye gel really are notable! It performs just as well as some of my products that were three and four times the price. Overall score is a four out of five, would recommend based on effectiveness ingredients and cost.

Works surprisingly well!

I received this item free to test the product and provide my review. I am at an age where I could have considered using these types of products but hadn’t bought anything yet. I love how it has a nice cooling sensation to it especially when putting it on in the morning. I’ve only used it for about a week so I’m not sure how the product works for wrinkles but I can say it feels hydrating and cooling and it hasn’t had a negative effect on using my regular moisturizer on top. I’ll definitely keep using it!

Amazing product

This eye gel is amazing! Within the 1st week I noticed a difference. Less puffiness around my eyes. Within 2 weeks, I noticed a more even skin tone. I do recommend not getting it too close to your eyeballs though. It stings a bit if you get it in your eye.

I received this product free from butterly for my honest review. It is leightweight and fragrance free. I havebeen using this eye gel in evening for a while. it is hydrating and it improves the look of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines around my eyes. I like how it feels gentle on skin and doesn’t leave greasy residue on skin.

Best Eye Gel Ever

It was an amazing eye combination! Made my skin soft and shiny ! I love ❤️ it sure was great on my skin! Went on smooth ! Not strong scented ! I love it

Burn

It hurt the skin around my eyes. Felt burning when I applied it. I don’t know if this is because my skin is super sensitive or because I’ve never used this product before but I will not be purchasing this product in the future
