Oat bits are gentle yet effective. Scent is more like an oat honey than lavender. I did use another soap after the scrub, but it didn't seem to leave any residue and was moisturizing.

The very good aroma of lavender and oatmeal helps you relax during the shower. Your skin feels renewed after a few days of use, The scrub removes all the dead skin, you have to rub it for a few minutes.

If you want a relaxing bathing experience then you need Aveeno Stress Relief Body Scrub. Contains soothing oatmeal and combines the calming scents of lavender, chamomile, and ylang-ylang! I felt so relaxed coming out of my shower I was wanted to go back to bed to relax. I generally don't enjoy lavender scent too much but this one was very enjoyable.
