I have curls!!!!

Poker straight, thin hair is where we start. I have never been able to curl my own hair or have the curls stay in more than a couple hours. With this product I am able to curl my hair and get compliments on it!! I find it works best if you use a lower heat setting and set the time longer so you do not burn your hair. A heat treatment spray is a must. The curls have lasted in my hair over 10 hours which is amazing! The only downfall is if you do not have your hair positioned perfect your hair will get caught in the iron and you have to pull it out which can cause breakage and loss of hair:(. It is also very uncomfortable!

J'ai acheté le Miracurl lors de sa sortie. J'aime qu'on peut sélectionner différent niveaux de ''curls'' pour que ce soit plus ''loose'' ou moins. Pour ma part, j'ai les cheveux épais et ^ca me prend moins de temps avec le Miracurl. Le seul bémol c'est que le fer est lourd et que souvent les mèches se ''prennent'' dans l'engrenage. Je pense qu'il ne faut pas trop mettre de produits car on ne peut pas le nettoyer comme on veut. Aussi, ne pas créper car sinon ça se prend dedans.

I was able to purchase this lovely contraption using points through my employer and I use it almost every day. It gives a really nice and soft curl without the awful creasing at the end. If you aren't paying attention to what you're doing, it can trap your hair and you will have to ease it out. I find the price point very high for this item though and I likely would not have bought it if not for the points.

J'ai reçu ce fer en cadeau à noël et le premier était brisé. J'ai dû l'échanger. Le 2e fonctionnait mieux mais on ne peut pas mettre une grande quantité de cheveux dedans, comparé au Conair (qui se vend moins cher, mais qui à mon avis fonctionne mieux). Ça m'a donc pris plus de temps à faire mes cheveux qu'avec le Conair. Mais le résultat est toujours impeccable et ça fait des cheveux de princesse!

I'm kind of on the fence about this one. It definitely isn't for me or my hair type. It works best on straight, less voluminous hair for sure. On my rats nest, not so much. You need to have small sections of unknotted hair and when I tried this on myself, my hair got caught and it was pretty unpleasant. I did use this on Renee, our intern though and with her straight hair, it worked really nicely. We did have to use the highest settings, but the curls lasted pretty much all day and looked great. Its suppperrrr simple to use. My one complaint is the price. Its about 100 too much for me to buy.
