I picked up this powder from Sephora a year ago, for my birthday. I was excited to try a hydrating powder, especially because my skin had been very very dry due to our new air conditioner. My first impression of it wasn't great. I found the tint of the powder too dark for my skin tone (I'm very fair) and I felt it was heavy feeling. I'm not sure what changed, but I pulled this out of my collection to give it another shot and I LOVE it now. The colour isn't perfect (I wish it was transparent or translucent), but it works well with my summer skin tone. In fact, this is my new favourite summer powder. It doesn't feel heavy, but it doesn't dry me out like regular setting powders. I don't recommend it for under the eyes, at least for dry skin or fair tones, as it's too dark and does emphasize lines and dryness. It sets my foundation perfectly without a powdery look.

(I am reviewing the hydrating, translucid one) Great setting powder that doesn't make you look cakey. It has quite a shimmer to it which is perfectly fine if you like that type of effect. As far as hydrating, I wouldn't say it provides hydration, but it does not dry out more nor settles in fine lines. A little goes a long way so the price is not outrageous!

Bare Essentials A touch Of Sun all over radiance is beautiful! You don't need a lot of this product to look like you just stepped off the beach.

Love the Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil (and most if not all of their other products). I use it almost daily, it is a nice finishing powder and it makes the makeup looks much better (settled, but in a good way). I have tried quite a few finishing powders and this is one of my favorites.

A jar costs about ~ $25 and will last you for a few months, but they have extra large jars which makes it even cheaper.

If you haven't given it a try yet, and you use finishing powders, I suggest you try it.

I love this powder! For about $25.00 you get 0.3oz of powder - which honestly lasts me about 6 months. I use it as a light dusting on my face with a kabuki brush, add blush and mascara and am good to go. It helps combat shine and you can get a version that is shimmery or with SPF as well. It's so lightweight, does not affect your skin in a negative way at ALL and it absolutely easy to apply. Its very light coverage and can be used as a setting powder as well. I tend to use it on its own or over a primer/SPF that I have.

I've been using this mineral veil for about 2 years and I really like it. It does set my make up and I don't have to reapply throughout the day (I have oliy skin). A little goes a long way, so a container can last a couple months. Well worth it when you think about it.

This warmth product works. Just a caution...a little goes a long way. Be careful when applying this. Just put a tiny bit on your brush and then brush some off before applying it. That way you can build up the colour you're looking for. Also makes the product last forever!

I was a bit skeptical about 'Warmth' when I saw the color of the powder. I received it as part of the Bare Escentuals starter kit and was hesitant to use it. 'Warmth' is a dark burgundy powder, but don't let this fool you. It is said to give you a sun-kissed glow, and it does when used sparingly. You must do the swirl and tap method recommended by Bare Escentuals. If you have too much product on your brush, you will look like a clown. That said, if you have a little bit of 'warmth' on your brush and you dust the apples of your cheeks as well as your forehead, nose and chin (where the sun would hit you), then you will have a nice color to your skin. There is nothing worse than the look of mono-tone skin. Warmth gives you a healthy and natural glow that lasts all day.

I think warmth gives your skin a nice color, but it is also a little on the spendy side if bought separately without it being part of a kit. I do think it is better than your average blush though.

Love the warmth. It is so handy to add to your foundation color when you get a tan. Its easy to use and feels light. I would recommend it to anyone.
