Ain't nothin' like the real thing

I didn't want to love this, but I did. I don't even remember how I did my makeup before this came into my life, and it's definitely worth every penny. I have previously used the solid cleanser that comes with it, but I find that you can get similar results by using a plain bar of Dove or Ivory soap. One word of caution: be careful to keep your fingernails out of the way when squeezing the sponge, because it's pretty easy to cause tiny tears in it.

    Best ever!

Love my beauty blender. Applies make up so smoothly. Very easy to clean with Irish spring soap. Easier to use than a foundation brush. Highly recommend. Be sure to use damp, not dry.

    I love it!

I love the Black Pro Beauty Blender! I was never a fan of using brushes and always used my fingers (horrible!), so I tried the Pink Beauty Blender. I liked it but i felt like it was not as great as they advertised it to be. Then I came across the Black Pro Beauty Blender.
It is stiffer and has a different texture than the pink one. It is more textured and less soft and spongy so it helps the foundation actually blend on the skin and stay in place. It does not soak up the foundation so less is more. It blends smoothly and makes for good coverage, looks natural.
The sponge itself is pretty strong. Everyday use and many washes later, it still is stiff and brand new in texture. It does not crack or break in half like the other pink Beauty Blenders.
I really recommend it for anyone wanting a make up sponge. Extra points: the black color does not bleed and the blender doesnt look dirty even after a few uses.

Tried so many, LOVE this brand!

I've tried so many different kinds and they just do not work the same way that beauty blender does. it works flawlessly and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who uses makeup daily or even just the odd time.

    Blend like a pro!

I've tried the cheap knockoffs and they're just simply not the same. It's definitely true that you get what you pay for and these are worth every dollar. The only makeup sponge I trust to blend my foundation perfectly. Every time.

It took some getting used to!

At first, i'll admit, I didn't like the Beauty Blender. I thought I had wasted money until I tried it again and realized I LOVE IT! It makes my foundation look flawless.

    Best makeup blender

I absolutely love this little blender !!!
I recently purchased it from Sephora and I’m super glad I did . I make sure that it’s damp before I apply my foundation and always apply by dabbing my face. My foundation is left looking airbrushed and not cakey at all. Super easy to clean , you can even purchase the beauty blender cleaner that goes with the blender .

    Nobody does it better

I've tried many different make up sponges but nothing can beat the Beautyblender. I use it to create a looks similar to an air brushed finish and the best thing about it is that it is durable and lasts and lasts.

    Love it

This makes liquid foundation and powder look air brushed! I'll never go back to brushes. They are also worth the $20 price tag. No other sponge is as soft and bouncy.

    must have!

This was the first Beauty Blender I bought, I loved that it was black and I loved the ''pro'' part, and since foundation is known for staining I figured it would look better than a stained pink one.. However, It was ruined by a bad foundation (still don't understand how, Still mourning the loss of it) and I repurchased a new one, but I went with the original so comparing it to the original, it's very similar I'd say the Pro gave a more dewy even finish, it was a tiny bit more dense, not as spongy as the original. It was also slightly smaller, when both are wet the original is a tiny bit bigger. But comparable they're both incredible and I wouldn't be able to switch back to anything else.

Now, the pro never stained the original does already have staining and along with the original the colour seems to bleed and fade over time, the pro never did and I used it for slightly over 6 months (you're suppose to change them more often but I had went two months without wearing makeup so I figured it was okay, oops).

I love beauty blender in general I've never had issues, It bounces the foundation flawlessly into your skin, and no streaks like with a regular foundation application everything is even and great.

I love how soft and spongy it is and how big it gets when wet, the pointed part is great for getting into those tiny creases for your eyes and nose etc when applying, I could never get it perfect with fingers or brushes previously.

Since I've used it I've been hooked and I haven't used any other way to apply foundation since.

It can also be used for applying powder for baking and such but I haven't gotten into that much yet.

You can buy the cleaner for it from the brand, but I just use dawn dish soap and it's worked fine for me, gets it clean. smells nice etc. I seen a few times in the last few years of people finding mold in the center when they cut them and when my pro broke apart the center was normal colour so I assume my cleaning method is fine.
