Antiperspirants block sweat glands to avoid perspiration. An aluminum compound is the active ingredient in most antiperspirants. Aluminum compounds have a many possible health risks which includes hormonal imbalance, increased risk of Alzheimers and even breast cancer.

Deodorants simply fight odor causing bacteria and scent the underarm. You will still sweat, but you won’t stink.

I’ve decided to make the switch. I’ve traded in my antiperspirant for deodorant. I’m not really one to sweat much to begin with so the health risks definitely outweigh the benefits, in my case. Did you know those yellows stains on your clothing under your arms is not caused by sweat itself? It us actually caused by the aluminum reacting with the sweat. Aluminum free deodorants do not yellow your shirts.

I was recently given a sample of Bella Organics Vanilla Mint Deodorant Cream. I love the fact that it is organic and chemical free. I’ve listed the ingredients below so you can see for yourself. All you need is a pea sized amount for each underarm. The texture feels light and none greasy. I found that it lasted the entire day and I didn’t need to reapply. Bella Organics Deodorant Cream comes in many scents including Lavender Vanilla, Orange and Spice, Iced Lemonade, Lemongrass Bergamot and of course the Vanilla Mint. Although I really liked the Vanilla Mint, I would really love to try the Iced Lemonade. I love the smell citrus, especially in the morning. It kind of gives me a little pick me up.

Received the product for testing and reviewing. Organic Deodorant - I have heard about it before but this was my first time using it. Very different I have to say, but it worked. It comes in little container, looks almost like a lip balm, easy to apply, all organic, smells great and fresh and nice smell stay with me all day. I also have to say that I dont sweat too much, so I cant say how would it work for others, but im satisfied.
