Good but not as good as the regular kind

I #gotitfree thru chick advisor. This flavour is something that I was very excited to try! The flavour is amazing, my only complaint is that the texture just wasn't what I was expecting. It almost tasted like if you just froze pudding. The brownie part of the icecream was amazing, but the cookie dough part had the weirdest texture - it tasted freezer-burnt even though it visibly was not. I don't see myself buying this exact product again, I will keep to the regular Ben & Jerry's. I do think that this would be a good option for those who have dairy sensitivities or allergies though!

Perfect dairy-free alternative

I think it's wonderful that the brand came out with a dairy-free alternative! It's my favourite store-brand for ice-cream so I'm happy so many other people can enjoy now (especially Vegans, and those who can't eat dairy). I think it's pretty good for the price (especially when on sale) since non-dairy alternatives tend to run quite pricy, and don't offer such cool flavours. I definitely recommend for non-dairy eaters, but for those who can eat dairy, I say stick to the regular line since I find the dairy versions to taste better, but for being dairy-free it's pretty good! All gone in one night!

Best Tasting Peanut Butter Non-Dairy Ice Cream

I received this for free from Chick advisor and Ben & Jerry's, I had a hard time finding these non-dairy ice creams in Newfoundland, but when I did I was glad. The price of it was on sale for $5.99 at Dominion from $8.99. Usually I do not buy this ice cream because of the price, being a student it is hard to afford, however, when it is on sale I make sure to stock up as it tastes so good. The Peanut Butter Half Baked ice cream was so delicious, it was packed with flavor, had big pieces of brownie and chocolate and you can actually taste the peanut butter. You can not even tell that there is no dairy in it, it is just as good quality as their regular ice creams. I would choose to get their non dairy versions opposed to their regular ones as the flavors are just as good without having to harm animals. I will be recommending this to all my friends to try and will be purchasing the other flavors.

Finally lactose free ice cream that tastes great!

I developed a dairy allergy as a kid but I would still sneak ice cream because I loved the taste. Now I can get that without the sore stomachs! Happy to have this option finally as Ben and Jerry’s has such unique flavourings that other ice cream brands don’t. Love it and can’t wait to restock.

Delicious!

I really enjoyed the combination of all the flavours. Everything complimented each other so well and it definitely hit my sweet tooth craving. My favourite part of the ice cream were the peanut butter gobs, so delicious!
For a non-dairy ice cream, it still tastes very creamy. I am looking forward to trying out their other flavours and I hope Ben & Jerry come out with more.

Ice cream

I really enjoyed the ice cream and it’s flavours. It tastes like peanut butter from a chocolate bar such as crispy crunch and Reese and any other bar that has peanut butter but only thing I didn’t like as much was the cookie dough, it wasn’t bad but I didn’t like it to much. I got this free and I would buy again, though it’s abit pricey. I also like spoon that came with the package.

Let me preface my review by saying I was given the chance to try ben & Jerrys peanut butter half baked non dairy for free and decided to buy this one in order to compare them.

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall taste. This peanut butter flavour had the added benefit of chocolate and included cookie dough pieces and fudge brownies, and oh man is it creamy and delicious, completely different texture from the non-dairy.

Though I did like it, and do recommend it, but at $6-$7 for a small 500ml tub I'm on the fence about buying this again.

Better than I expected

Was actually hard to find this flavour, I ended up trying 3 different stores before finally finding it in non-dairy.

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall taste. I had previously tried the P.B. & COOKIES non dairy from Ben and Jerrys and was really bummed with the flavour. This peanut butter flavour had the added benefit of chocolate and included cookie dough pieces and fudge brownies.

My only flavour hang up, is the texture, its hard to explain but its almost like a freezer burned, flaky texture, and when straight from the freezer is really hard to scoop, all you get are small chunks. I bought the same flavour but with dairy, and oh man is it creamy and delicious, completely different texture.

Thanks to chickadvisor I was given then chance to try Ben and Jerry’s half baked peanut butter non dairy desert for free in exchange for my review. I love that fact that this dessert was non dairy sometimes dairy doesn’t agree with me, but I still want to enjoy an ice cream like dessert and this was perfect. The taste was excellent there was so much peanut butter goodness in each scoop. The texture was very similar to ice cream and my kids were right in there enjoying it with me. The containers are fairly small for the price but it tastes so good that it’s well worth it. I would reccomened this to anyway who has a dairy allergy or sensitivity or someone who wants to try something new. I can’t wait to try all the other flavours.

My boyfriend and I eat ice cream like its going out of style. He puts peanut butter in it with cookies crushed up.

Ben & Jerrys we buy quite often from Macs even though it is really expensive there for that size of a container. Its too bad it only comes one size.
