Best acne wash ever!!

Its 5% benzoyl peroxide formula is “micronized.” This means it is milled so fine that it can penetrate deep in your pores and effectively eliminate the bacteria that cause acne breakouts—unlike other products that may just sit on your skin.

Not for me

It has a really nice creamy texture. It doesn’t lather too well and it did make my skin feel tight, but I sort of expect these things from a heavy duty acne wash. It has a slight medicated cream scent to it, which I wasn’t a big fan of. Also a good note, even with washing it off your face really well, it actually bleached my towels, which I wasn’t too happy about

Great for acne skin

I incorporated this cleanser into my morning routine every two days, and the results were nearly instant. By the following day, I could already see my skin starting to clear up. It was astonishing how quickly the irritation and redness I had been experiencing vanished after just one use.

I love this wash. It has perfect percentage of benzoyl and it's really helps me clean the acne Producing baterias.
I like how it didn't irritate my sensitive skin like other products.

Great acne wash

The Benzagel 5 Acne Wash is a good product for anyone with acne issues. The main ingredient, Benzoyl Peroxide is proven to reduce and prevent acne. It has a fresh and clean scent and doesn’t irritate my skin.

Super soft on the skin

I really enjoyed using this wash, it doesn't dry my skin and I feel refreshed and new after every use. My skin reacts to a lot of stuff and didn't with this one

From time to time I breakout with some painful pimples on my cheeks. I used the wash in the morning every 2 days and noticed almost immediately the next day, my skin was already clearing up! The irritation and redness I was experiencing was gone after using the wash after 1 day. This cleanser is not meant to clean the oils or makeup off your face or anything like that, it really is meant to treat mild acne. And guess what? It does exactly that! It is a thin consistency and does not sud, I left it on for 30 seconds. I love the results from this product and it is now always in my medicine cabinet for those occasional breakouts. Not as intended, but I did use this on my husband’s bacne and it DID WONDERS for his back. Large cystic acne, clogged pores and small pimples reduced greatly after 3 washes. Since his back skin is much thicker than my face, I left it on for a little longer than 2 minutes to ensure the active chemicals penetrated his back (and clearly it did!). The only not really downside, but more of a warning I would like to mention is that the formulation bleaches towels used to dry my face and husband’s body. I would suggest using white towels or old towels.

Sensitive skin friendly

I really like this face wash because it’s effective and at the same time gentle enough because it doesn’t dry out my skin like other acne wash do and help to get rid of all the excess oil and impurities without any irritation.

Great product to try

This has been a lifesaver for me in preventing acne skin; Benzagel Acne Wash works wonderfully for healing breakouts; it just needs to be moisturized a little more. It helps a lot in preventing body acne. I am quite happy with this product overall. Some people might have complained but for me, it was a wonderful product and gonna buy it again.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this product. I use it in the morning and evening to wash my face, before using the Benzagel Aftercare Moisturizing Lotion and then the Benzagel Acne Gel. All of these products together create the perfect regimen for people suffering with acne (like myself.)

This definitely feels like the perfect facial wash that always leaves my skin feeling super clean without feeling stripped and dry. I find I have a healthy glow and I no longer feel like I have to cover my skin up.

It has a bit of a fragrance but nothing overpowering or “perfumy” - just a generally clean and pleasant scent. It goes on like a cream and doesn’t really lather but I can always tell that my skin is really clean and fresh after using it.

I really love this entire line and I’m so glad I got to try it. This will be a staple in my skincare routine going forward!
