Big Rig is a local Ottawa brewery with its flagstaff locations in the Westend. It is owned by one of the Ottawa Senators (whose name I don't recall - I don't pay attention to hockey).

Gold is their first and flagship beer. It's nice and light in colour and goes down quite smoothly. It uses German and Canadian hops - and more recently in the news, will start using hops from Manotick, Ontario grown for Big Rig!

It's nice for a novice craft beer person.
