Digital Dino Pet
It is a lot of fun. The Dino pet is very interactive: you can feed it, pet it, battle, hatch new dinosaurs - all of which keeps this toy interesting for along time. The design is detailed and it feels well-made. My only real gripe is that it doesn’t come with a rechargeable battery. In this day and age, that feels like a miss. Also, the packaging was a bit hard to open. But overall, it’s a cool concept and a fun little device.
Cool dinosaur toy
My kid has absolute fun with it. It has different cartoons every time you open. Interesting to watch and they offer 25 different dinosaurs to collect which we can interact with.
Thank you for this amazing toy! We love and recommend it to all dinosaur lovers out there
Fun Toy!
The Bitzee Jurassic Park is a fun toy for my just turned 7 year old! The original Bitzee was a bit on the girly side, but we got him one anyway. We were so happy to see a Jurassic Park version! The design is super cool, and it has just as many cool features, if not more. It definitely reminds me of my Tamagotchi when I was younger, so I’m happy that my son has something like this to play with. The more you play with it, the more dinosaurs you unlock.
Fun for all ages
All 3 of my kids loved it ages 9-12.
It has multiple games and babies Dinos you can collect. You grow the Dinos and hatch eggs. Its really cute. I was surprised that my oldest loved it so much as he isnt really into toys anymore.
Fun digital dino pets
Thanks to @thisisbutterly and @spinmaster for sending me the Bitzee Jurassic World to try for free in exchange for my honest review.
My 6 year old really loved going on the expeditions & digging for the Dino skeletons, and in turn, hatching new eggs after putting the bones in the dna replicator.
With 25 dinosaurs to unlock, there are a ton of different activities to do: feeding, cleaning up after they go to the bathroom, and giving them medical care when they’re ill - are all things that contribute to getting the dinosaurs to grow up, at which point you can connect with a friend’s Jurassic world bitzee or battle the dinos solo. My daughter is more interested in trying to collect all the dinosaurs and hasn’t yet had any dinos turn into their adult sizes, and we haven’t done any of the battling, which is fine because I’m not sure how difficult it would be for her/how interested she’d even be in that aspect of the toy.
Straight out of the box the volume is quite loud (I’m guessing so that potential customers can hear the toy in try-me mode through the packaging), but thankfully there are 3 volume settings, and even a mute setting!
It’s also super cute that the bitzee itself is shaped like a dino skull. Overall a fun toy for both girls and boys!
Digital Pet- my daughter’s absolute favourite
What I like about this product is that my it is very intuitive- my daughter got a hang of how it works pretty quickly. I also like that it’s a digital pet that she founds entertaining. After unboxing with me, she made a personal video with her sister on why she loves it; this is to let you know how much she is into it. I would recommend this to every parent.
Super neat interactive toy
Super neat toy! It comes in a cool box with a “try me tab” which shows a preview mode.
To me it feels like a modern day tamagochi with more features and technology. The compact size is perfect for taking on the go. You can adjust the volume too. The way it works is that there’s a flap that goes continuously up and down, with some led lights at the edge forming pictures.
You can embark on expeditions to find fossils, then put the fossils bones in the dna replicator to turn into an egg, then you wait for the egg to incubate and when it’s ready it gives an alert for you to “crack” the egg open. You can play games too, and even battle against another jurassic world bitzee.
At first I couldn’t figure out how to get to new levels because the QR code that led to the instruction page didn’t yet have the jurassic world bitzee on it. But we figured it out with some trial and error! My toddler got the hang of this within a day, and he gets really excited when the notification comes up saying the dino is either hungry, has pood, or is sick.
It requires 3 batteries to operate, whereas I wish it had option to charge by usb-c. Otherwise, not much to comment about in terms of improvements or suggestions. Even the adults in the household have been playing with this and find it really fun.
Good not Great
My 7-year-old initially loved this toy. It was interesting to figure out the games and such. Unfortunately, after playing with it a few times, it loses its sparkle. However, not a total loss as now she carries it around like it's her pet, takes care of it, plays with IT, not necessarily the games on it. Please please get a volume button on this thing as it is quite loud!
Kid thought it was cool
My kid was very excited to try this toy out. She thought the games were cool and swiping left and right to change the pic was cool. The sounds were enticing and the video was vivid
Kids lost interest quickly
The kids were excited by the packaging and media buzz behind this product and we're eager to start playing with the Bitzee.
The difficult packaging starting things off rough, making the intro a bit frustrating. Once their Bitzee was finally release quick excitement was met with confusion as to what the toy actually does. The visual style instructions don't prove helpful in drawing the kids deeper into play, but instead turned them off from playing with the toy at all.
Net, better instructions would be great to draw the kids in deeper and further.
