Leaves skin immensely hydrated!!!!! Love it!!!

This formula has a very thick, rich cream consistency that spreads easily and initially leaves a white cast on the skin. It doesn't absorb easily so it needs to be worked in well into the skin before it turns clear.   Leaves behind this faint bluish tint on the skin and looks almost shimmery in the sunlight. Once absorbed, it doesn't leave your skin greasy or sticky but so immensely hydrated.   I think this product is best suited for the body but can be used on the face.  If used on the face, I'd apply it using a makeup sponge for easy absorption. Makes for a great makeup base/primer too!! Love it!!!

Also, the cap changes colour from clear to blue when exposed to UV rays. Pretty cool!!!

Clean mineral sunscreen for sensitive skin

I got this sunscreen for free to test. I haven’t tried it before but my family and I have sensitive skin and I’ve been using mineral sunscreen for the past many years and am always on the lookout for a safe and effective mineral sunscreen. This blue lizard sunscreen has a nice texture and not overly thick to apply. It’s almost scent free which is nice as well. I’m quite enjoying it for both my kids and myself and will likely buy it going forward. I noticed it also comes in multiple different sizes and formats and may try their other options as well.

I have sensitive skin and I’m always on a hunt of a good Mineral sunscreen.I recently tried this blue lizard mineral sensitive sunscreen and I absolutely love it because it provides broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection and it’s free of Oxybenzone and Octinoxate ,reef friendly,fragrance-free and paraben-free And the coolest part is the cap changes color in UV light that’s a reminder to reapply.

After using Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen Sensitive SPF 50 consistently for about a week, I’m quite pleased with its performance. As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciated that the formula didn’t cause any irritation, breakouts, or redness. It applies smoothly and offers solid sun protection—I didn’t experience any tanning or sunburn even during longer periods outdoors. The texture is on the thicker side, and while there is a noticeable white cast initially, it settles down with some blending. I recently received the Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen Sensitive SPF50 from Butterly to test and review, and I really appreciate its thoughtful features and gentle formula.

The Smart Cap Technology is especially clever — it changes color in UV light to remind you when it’s time to apply sunscreen.

The cream is quite thick, and I definitely noticed the texture when applying it. There’s no fragrance at all, and none of that usual sunscreen smell, which I really liked. When first applied, it leaves a white cast, but it absorbs quickly and gives a nice glowy finish.

One standout plus: it doesn’t sting my eyes — even after sweating outside, which is rare and very much appreciated.

It performed well during my outdoor test — I wore it during a full afternoon of gardening and felt protected the entire time — no irritation, no sunburn, and no heaviness on my skin.

That said, I feel it’s better suited for body use. On my face, it didn’t pair well with my regular skincare routine and felt a bit heavy.
