Bobbi Brown Luxe Liquid Lip

I received all three shades of this Bobbi Brown lip shine. I love the applicator and the gorgeous gold packaging. The shine and texture were phenomenal. My favourite color is by far the red. The other two shades were also nice but did not suit my complexion as well as the red. I would definitely recommend this line of lip shine to others however at the price point I do not think i would purchase again .

Love the product, hate the price.

I got this in my showcase at home kit. The only thing I hate is the price. The colour (I got red the news 8) is fabulous, the formula is amazing, and the applicator puts other lippies to shame. That price though is insane.

Bobbi brown liquid lip

Great everyday lip gloss. Not very glossy on me but that actually works out better as it is not very sticky and when the wind blows my hair doesn't stick to it. It did bleed a little when I first used it but when I blotted it, was fine. Long lasting. A little pricey for me but definitely worth the price.

Gorgeous colour

This Bobby brown liquid lipstick is a beautiful colour. It goes on smoothly and lasts forever. I appreciate the depth of colour from this red. #chickadvisorshowcase

Luxe Lips for All!

I really like this liquid lipstick. It goes on a bit thick at first, but seems to stay put - and shiny - which is unusual for a long-wear lipstick in my experience. The 3 colours we were given as part of our Chick Advisor Show Case bags are each flattering with my skin tone (olive). I have been using them regularly and notice they do not dry out my lips, which is a bonus. The only thing I dislike about the product is the applicator - I wish it was leaf-shaped and flatter so that it's easier to apply without getting any around your lips.

Loving the colours but...

Onto the positives. First, the packaging of this lipstick is gorgeous. It's so easy to open and close, and there's no issue of closing and then the cap doesn't align properly with the bottom. Second, the colour is very pigmented and shows up very nicely on my lips. I've seen several people wearing the same shade, but it looks different depending on your own skin, which is so great!

Now onto the negatives. First, the brush picks up way too much product every time I uncap it, and I always have to wipe it by the edge before I can apply. This can get pretty wasteful pretty fast, and can get a little messy if you're not careful. Second, the brush is not very precise. It's great when applying at the middle of your lips. However, because of how much product it usually has, and how big the brush is, it's difficult to get a precise application on the sides of the lips. It's even more difficult to make sure the colour doesn't seep outside the lip line.

Very pigmented

The colours are definitely pigmented. I prefer Matte lipsticks because I find glossy lipsticks can smudge often. I found this to be proven with these... they did smudge.

Interested to see more color options

I like all 3 colors but the red is definitely hard to apply. The color doesn't shift to much once applied but getting it on nicely is a little difficult. The applicator on all 3 takes out way to much product, I almost have to scrape all of it before I can apply. You're definitely better off to have a lip liner with these, especially the red. They definitely have some staying power to, not like some glosses that you have to constantly reapply.

I like this liquid lippie

First off, the packaging of this liquid lippie is so nice. It’s very premium and the bottle is glass. I was hesitant about this product overall as I don’t normally use liquid lipsticks but I do really like the Italian Rose colour. It seems lighter in the package but I like how it turned out in the end. I like how a little goes along way with this because although it is more expensive, it will last you.

Take your time when spreading this on your lips as you really need to spread it out evenly. It’s a quality formula that spreads easily and it does have high shine to it when you are first applying it. When it dries, it’s more matte I would say. I received this being a ChickAdvisor staff member.
