Very good

If I’m being honest I’m not a lover of traditional hotdogs, so my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised however in the quality and taste of these turkey franks. The flavour was very good and I would buy them again in substitution of a traditional hot dog.

Good red meat substitute

I decided to try and cook the dogs in a sticky garlic sauce and make them into little octopus shapes to make it a little fun and add some extra taste. They plumped up nicely, and held onto the sauce really well. They are seasoned but not so much that they compeat with other flavour which is nice for a staple choice. Overall it's a good dog and a really good option if you're on restricted diet.

Great hot dog option

If your kid loves hot dogs but you’re hesitant about what is actually in a hot dog, then these turkey franks will save the day. It’s 100% turkey meat and gluten free and still delivers in terms of flavour. I air fried mine then cut them up to put in mac and cheese and it was nice and juicy and had some bounce to it. Would recommend as a healthier hot dogs alternative.

Healthier Hot Dogs

I received this product for free, in exchange for my honest review, from #butterly and #ButterballCanada. My family enjoyed the Butterball Turkey dogs as they are thick, juicy and very tasty. They're also Gluten free and much lower in fat than the beef hot dogs. In addition, they're high in protein so are a healthier option. We don't eat hot dogs very often, but when we do, I would purchase these instead of my usual brand.

healthier option but still lacks flavor

Honestly, I'm always a little hesitant about turkey franks... they can be kinda hit or miss. 🌭 First impression? They look like franks. Nothing too exciting there. I boiled 'em up (classic, right?). Taste-wise... they're not bad! They've got that familiar frankfurter flavor, maybe a little milder than beef or pork. Texture-wise, they're pretty smooth, not too rubbery, which is a plus. My biggest concern is that they are a bit bland. They definitely need some help from condiments. Mustard, ketchup, relish... load 'em up! 😅 Overall, I'd say they're a decent, healthier alternative to regular franks. Good for a quick lunch or a cookout if you're watching your fat intake. I'd give 'em a 6/10. Not amazing, but not terrible either. 👍

A delicious and creative lunch

I wanted to try these sausages in a more unique way, since there are so many interesting recipe combinations out there. I ended up making a baked vegetable stew with boiled eggs, fresh tomatoes, and of course — the sausages. It turned out really tasty and satisfying! Kind of bland

while I found the texture okay, overall turkey franks don't have a lot of flavour. I wish it had a bit more seasoning to it. It over all was a bit bland, and I found myself piling on the toppings to make it tasty.

New favorite Hot Dog!

These were absolutely delicious. I grilled them up and took them out on a picnic to see if my little nephew would enjoy them and even he was open minded and gave them a try!

Better than expected

I don’t normally eat this type of processed meat because of ingredients and nutritional values concern, but I found the turkey alternative interesting for that reason. I tried them in a recipe I saw online during a friends gathering and I’ve only received good comments! I’m pretty sure everyone would have liked them as much in hot dogs.
