Healthier option for sausage

The hotdog taste good and has good chunks and thick texture. It does have the right amount of saltyness which is healthier and I enjoy eating. You can eat this by itself, pair it with rice or serve this as a snack with hotdog bun or bread.

Good taste

I tried Butterball's turkeys and here are my impressions. First of all, the package contains 8 sausages, which is a little unusual but the sausages are larger in diameter. These turkeys really smell and look like the brand and flavor I normally buy that is not made from turkeys. Cooking is similar and easy. The texture and taste are allostérique the same of my régularité brand because if I hadn't known, I would have confused them. The only thing I didn't like was really the fact that they are larger because I prefer thinner sausages. So in the end, this choice still seems healthier because it is less fatty, gluten-free and with a good taste.

Juicy turkey hot dogs

These are juicy plump good quality hotdogs. You can taste that they are poultry/turkey hotdogs instead of the regular pork mix, so a good alternative if you want a change in taste or want to be healthier. I appreciate that the texture is smooth, no grainy or sandy texture but I did find it slightly too salty.

Really good choice for someone who doesn't like beef weiners. Very tasty. Would recommend these to anyone who loves hot dogs. Best on the bbq if you ask me!

Is a lower-fat alternative to regular hotdogs

I have to say that the turkey franks tasted pretty good. I wasn’t expecting the taste of a spice I could taste, but once I got use to it I didn’t mind the flavour . I would definitely recommend this hotdog especially if you’re looking for an alternative to regular hotdogs. I can’t wait to enjoy these all summer long.

Another tasty yet salty hot dog alternative

Another tasty Butterball product that is supposed to be a healthier alternative to the classic weiner. I looked at the nutritional information for both products & both are very similar. The sodium in the turkey frank is higher. I would enjoy this more if it was less salty. I honestly wouldn't be able to tell that this is turkey especially if being replaced as the meat in a traditional hot dog.

These were very easy to cook on the BBQ and very tasty!

While you do get slightly less in the pack, the individual turkey dogs are thick and quite filling on their own. Once you add your condiments, they are a fulfilling summer meal, without the sluggish after effects, so you have the energy to enjoy your summer plans.

Delicious and Nutritious BBQ Alternative

I received the opportunity to try Butterball Turkey Franks courtesy of Butterly and Butterball Canada. This product was quick and easy to prepare on the barbecue. The texture and consistency is the same as a beef wiener. The finished (barbecued) product was flavourful and moist. It tastes lighter and leaner, and contains 40% less fat compared to other wieners on the market. It is also a good source of protein and, bonus for my family, gluten free. My family really enjoyed this product as part of a quick weekend barbecue lunch along with a tomato salad. If you are a hot dog fan, I recommend giving this product a try.

I got the opportunity try the butterball turkey franks! Perfect for a fire bbq on the long weekend. Everyone throughly enjoyed them. They are thicker than a lot of chicken hot dogs I’ve gotten in the past. They taste great. They were a bit softer than some other dogs I’ve tried before.
