Healthy and tasty alternative to regular Franks

The Butterball turkey franks are juicy and flavorful. I like that they are healthier than traditional franks while still tasting great! They are as easy to cook as regular franks and are delicious in hot dogs, especially on the bbq! It tastes like a treat but it's actually not packed with fat, isn't this a great recipe for happiness?!

best franks ever!

These franks are so darn good! They taste better than regular hot dogs . These are also gluten free and lower in fat as well . My family really enjoyed this and will be buying more in the future for bbq's. Butterball's turkey franks are great for people who can't have pork and still want to enjoy a hot dog. I love that its Canadian made too. Supporting local ! Highly recommend this to everyone!

Butterball Franks are frankly not my thing

I was excited to try this new product, I took my free coupon and got the last pkg at the store along with some hot dog buns. I love my hotdogs pan fried so I fried up two. They are very lean so it took a very long time to cook, but smelled delicious. I tried one on its own with no bun no topping and found it was not very tasty, rather very bland. The other one I put in a bun and put mayonaise and ketchup like I normally do and again was very dense and no real taste to it. I do not prefer these at all.

Tastes like beef hot dogs

These are so good. They taste delicious, just like a beef hotdog would except better for you so a huge win. We enjoyed these outside on our patio for supper, my 2 year old daughter also loved them (it was her first time having a hot dog!). Will buy again.

Taste just like beef hotdogs

We had these for dinner last night and I really enjoyed them! I did not personally taste any difference between them an beef hot dogs. They cooked really well and two filled me right up. I felt a lot better eating turkey.

Kid friendly franks

Clean tasting

My husband is a big fan of hot dogs and we both felt like these Franks had a cleaner taste than pork, beef, or chicken dogs. Because they're made with turkey, they're lower in fat without losing the protein. They're less oily and greasy feeling and the ingredients being relatively clean meant a better flavour. The texture is just like a regular hot dog and the larger Franks size is perfect for a family. I think because these have less fat, they would be tastier boiled than grilled since there is less fat and moisture to lose through grilling, making this a generally drier product.

Another bonus: toddler approved. My 2 year old ate an entire hot dog on his own and kept asking for more!

I love that these are made in Canada and the sale price is fantastic. The regular price is on par with regular hot dogs, but you can get a healthier variety from Butterball. Highly recommend!

Good alternative to pork side bacon

The idea of a lower fat and sodium is great and these Turkey Franks offer that. I found them a bit dry, which usually happens when you lower the fat content. Also, they don’t get as crispy when roasting/BBQing. They are easy and quick to cook, 5-7 min. on the BBQ or boil. The taste is decent; in fact, I liked them better than beef and pork hot dogs. Very versatile, can be prepared and eaten in the traditional way, in bun with condiments or use your imagination and create a dish.

Great alternative

My husband and I love banh mi sandwiches — they’re quick, easy, and perfect for lunch. We like using turkey franks as the protein for a lighter twist. It taste amazing. You would never know that the difference between turkey and chicken.
