Loving the Franks

I received a free coupon for Butterball Turkey Franks from Butterly to sample and review. I enjoyed them very much. I found them very flavorful and super easy to prepare as they are fully cooked already. They are gluten and lactose free with a lower fat content than pork or beef hot dogs, making them a healthier alternative. The first time I tried them was on a firepit and that was a huge hit with the kids. The second time that I tried them I cut them up into pieces and added them to cheese pasta. Both ways were delicious, and I will be buying these again.

Great alternative

I tryed the Butterball Turkey Franks recently and was actually pretty happy with them. They have a nice, mild flavor and cook up fast on the grill or stovetop.

What I like most is that they’re a healthier option compared to regular hot dogs, with less fat but still plenty of taste. The texture is a little softer than beef franks, but still enjoyable.

I’d definitely buy them again.

A healthier choice but delicious!

This is an amazing alternative if you still want to eat hot dogs. These are super juicy and flavourful! I love that these are still packed with protein but they are a healthier choice! You can even use these beyond hot dogs which I love!

Thor Approved

Mac & cheese is a staple in our house — predictable and one of Thor’s “safe foods.”

Tonight we got wild (as wild as autism-friendly dinners get) and tossed in some chopped-up Butterball Turkey Franks.

Juicy, flavourful, and still familiar enough that Thor only gave me minimal saucy side-eye 😅

10/10 would risk culinary change again.

Good taste

I tried Butterball's turkeys and here are my impressions. First of all, the package contains 8 sausages, which is a little unusual but the sausages are larger in diameter. These turkeys really smell and look like the brand and flavor I normally buy that is not made from turkeys. Cooking is similar and easy. The texture and taste are allostérique the same of my régularité brand because if I hadn't known, I would have confused them. The only thing I didn't like was really the fact that they are larger because I prefer thinner sausages. So in the end, this choice still seems healthier because it is less fatty, gluten-free and with a good taste.

Juicy turkey hot dogs

These are juicy plump good quality hotdogs. You can taste that they are poultry/turkey hotdogs instead of the regular pork mix, so a good alternative if you want a change in taste or want to be healthier. I appreciate that the texture is smooth, no grainy or sandy texture but I did find it slightly too salty.

Pretty good turkey dogs

The turkey franks were tasty—very similar to regular hot dogs, but noticeably less greasy, which we really appreciated. The package size was just right for our family of five to enjoy for lunch. Both my husband and I liked them, and the kids did too!

Broken Foot friendly meal!

Recently I broke my foot and cannot put any weight on it for 12 weeks!!!! So I never imagined that I could cook turkey for dinner anytime soon.

However, thanks to a coupon from @thisisbutterly I recently tried Butterball Turkey Franks. It was an easy and hassle-free dinner that I was able to cook while hobbling around my kitchen. I simply scored the Butterball Turkey Franks and popped them in the air fryer for 6 minutes at 390 degrees. They ended up being perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. No prep, no mess, and no standing around the kitchen (which is a good thing, because I can't stand on my left foot for very long!)

Not only were the Butterball Turkey Franks super convenient, but they also tasted delicious. I was surprised by how flavorful they were for turkey dogs—savory, not too salty, and a nice change from beef hotdogs. I am also happy they contain 100% turkey meat! They’ve definitely earned a permanent spot in my freezer for quick meals, broken foot or not! Turkey during the week is a great treat and I look forward to having it again soon!

Highly recommend if you want something quick, tasty, and a bit lighter than your average hot dog.

Just as tasty as traditional hot dogs

If I hadn’t known better, I would have thought these were normal hot dogs. While turkey offers a leaner meat alternative, it’s still delivers the flavour and juiciness. I love that these franks are also gluten and lactose free, so if you’re either, you can still partake and enjoy this summer!
